Best Aux Lights

Postby jerbear » Fri Apr 01, 2011 4:07 pm

I am looking to add additional lighting to the front of my GL1800. I am having a hard time deciding which is the best product ? There are some nice bright LED type lights out there but I have no way to see or test them. Just wondered what others are happy with ?

I absolutely love my aux lights. Got them from Susquanna lights Have to get the URL. They really light up the road and the nice thing about them is I can move them while riding to light the sides of the road as well as ahead. We live in a deer infested area so the ability to move the lights is great.

Both lights shipped to me were less than $110.

They are the Hella lights

Here is the URL.

I've been looking at these...
http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_catalog/Product.jsp?skuId=212943&store=Main&catId=&productId=p212943&leafCatId=&mmyId=
...mainly to be seen better by the caged population. I have a '75 wing so there is some concern with power but I can replace these bulbs with 35w/35w. That's where LED's would be handy but most LED's that are bright enough are NOT cheap. Not sure I would want to mount anything larger than 3 1/2" or 4" lights next to my headlight...

Yes, they are the ff75. Installation was very easy. I let the mechanic do it. :D
