Goldwing 1800 additional handlebars switch

Post by aurelio » Wed May 04, 2011 4:23 am

Hi all!

I'd like to add a switch or on/off push buttons for some additional electronic in my bike. Can someone suggest which part is suitable? I prefer a separate switch housing which could plug in the downside of the handlebars (not like the one that plug in the master cylinder).

Any suggestions will be very helpful.

Thank you in advance.

I'm going to add a few switches to the bike, the best place I found was on each side of the ingnition switch. There is room there and is easy to get at. When I connect a switch I use a relay and run the negative side of the relay to the switch, that way if for some reason there is a short no problem it's a ground, the only thing it will do is turn the device on.
