Integrated Communications with helmet

Post by mcadamos » Fri Jun 10, 2011 5:01 pm

Hi, have recently got a 2004 1800 and a helmet with no communications attached. What is the best solution for my helmet to enable me to listen to the radio and CD player and also my Garmin Zumo 660 and Blackberry 9800 which use Bluetooth. Is there a modification I can do to allow my radio and CD to be Bluetooth enabled instead of by cable. Any suggestions appreciated. Mcadamos.

Hi. I'm not sure if you can get this magazine over there, but in the latest issue of RIDER magazine, there's an article on using bluetooth stuff on your motorcycle. I just got the magazine the other day, and haven't read the article yet, (probably won't either) since I'm not into the bluetooth stuff. You can also find helmet intercoms and helmet speakers that are bluetooth enabled.

Steve thanks for the info. Will chase down a copy of that magazine.
