Throttle Cable

Postby djg1593 » Thu Oct 29, 2009 3:10 pm

I have a 2001 wing... broke my throttle cable and need to replace it. Is there a way to replace it without taking all the plastic off?

I don't know...but I *do* know that on some bikes, you can tie a string to one end, pull the cable out from the other end, tie the new cable to the string, and pull the new cable back into place with the string. No idea if the routing in an 1800 will allow for that or not.
