Installing a backoff module on a 2010 GL1800

Post by golfrussel » Tue Jul 05, 2011 5:48 pm

I am trying to install a backoff module on my 2010. I have the seat off and the rear center panel off. I have unplugged all of the connections under the seat one at a time and still can not locate the one that control the brake lights. Do any one out there know where's the brake light wires coming from the brake switches are located on a 2010 GL1800?

Remove the seat, and locate the green/red wire attached to the 14 pin 'gray' connector.

More info:
"It´s a friggen motorcycle, it´s not supposed to be comfortable, quiet or safe. The wind noise is supposed to hurt your ears, the seat should be hard and riding it should make you s**t your pants every now and then. "
