I don't know what you mean by a miniature RCA, normally the aux input is located in the front left glove box and its a 3 pin 3.5mm audio jack plug.. You first have to push the AUDIO button to turn the stereo on and select if music will go to the speakers or headset, then push the Aux button and you should then hear the axillary sound coming out..

Are you getting sound from other sources (FM radio, etc). Just trying to understand if it's the stereo that is not working, or just the Aux input?

The auxillary cable is connected to the main wiring harness just inside the top fairing above the left hand glove box. Iy you remove the glove box, you should be able to follow the auxillary lead up about 2 inches and it should join a 3 pin plug (There are 2 plugs taped together, one has 2 wires and is the 12volt supply for an additional cigarette lighter plug and the other lead has 3 wires and is the auxillary input lead.. Make sure your lead is connected up correctly. Only takes a couple of minutes to remove the left glove box.

I pulled the left glove box as you recommended and traced back the aux. cable .the cable is about18" long ,i checked the connection and also checked all three wires (resistance) all good .a.m,f.m. wb all work fine on speakers.thanks again for the input.
