phone integration

Post by 08gl1800 » Mon Aug 15, 2011 8:34 am

What is the best way to integrate a phone with the intercom system of an '08 GL 1800 PA? I haven't purchased headset or mic yet for the bike because I would like to know how to integrate my phone and its navigation and mp3 player with the stereo and intercom.

Check with Sierra Electronics. www.sierra-mc.com They should be able to help.

Personally, I prefer to make sure I CAN'T answer the phone when I'm on the bike!

It's about the only place where I can really escape from it.

I believe bikeMp3.com has something, if you use an stand alone bluetooth enabled GPS.

I have to agree with the above as all I want to know is who is calling. That usually dictates whether I pull over or not to take the call ;) .

If you are looking to accept calls and have a Garmin, the Gold Wing Stuff website has a pretty nifty solution that plugs into the Garmin Zumo 550 (link below).
