Hello to all. I guess I am the first to post on the 1800 section, so I will introduce myself. I have lived in Missouri USA since birth (5-25-47). I have been riding about 10 yrs & I really love it. Wish I had gotten started earlier but I intend to get all the riding I can before I get too old to hold up the beast. My main ride is '06 Gold 1800. Also have '77 1000 project ongoing, & '81 400 Honda. Well thats about it for now, maybe some more will jump in & lets get this forum hopping. Mel

Hi all: The name is Frank S and I just bought my 2001 Goldwing in late October. I have had a chance to ride it somewhat to get use to the size, and find it to be very easy to handle in all aspects. (stopping, accelleration is fenominal, cornering, manuvering intown and on the highway,no lack of power and torque at low speeds in any gear. I seem to feel that it could use another gear,(a sixth overdrive if you will) I am llooking forward to spring, and like the first poster I to want to get in as much biking as I can before I can no longer balance this beautiful beast of a Goldwing. I am going to be 65 this april and have had other bikes, but nothing that compares to my Honda Goldwing for size, power, handling, looks, ettc.I could go on, but for my first time on this forum I think this is enough.Thank you for reading, and I will be back another time.
