Upper and Lower fairing wind deflectors

Postby kenny topps » Thu Jan 05, 2012 5:04 pm

Seen to many on other Gl 1800. Do the upper and lower wind deflectors, that mount to the side fairing work? Do they help reduce rider wind ? If so which one would be best? Thanks KT

I have uppers on my old machine, and yes they sure work. It's like having a storm-door or no storm door.
You can direct that wind at you or away from you. They work great....not so sure about the one behind me.There it could be better.

I have Baker Air wings on mirrors, fairing, and crash bars and they make a big difference.
I also like in hot weather I can deflect the wind towards me. :D

I have the same setup and very happy with it.
More importantly, the wife is happy with it.
The GL1800 is a crotch rocket on Steroids.
