Have you looked in the owners or service manual (click on "Manuals" at the top of the page)? I'm pretty sure it would be covered in there.

While you have the shelter off and are by the airbox, you may want to adjust your cruise control lag if your cc doesnt engage at exactly what speed you set it at:

with the shelter off, the bike is still rideable, so you can pack a couple of wrenches and ride it to test your adjustments...it is much easier to adjust this way than with the shelter installed.
