HEL Stainless Steel Brake Lines Being Offered

Postby lopeha55 » Fri May 18, 2012 6:55 pm

I have been allowed by Wing Admin to offer HEL Stainless Steel Brake Lines to members of the site. They are made by HEL Performance located in the UK. The lines are offered in 18 colors & the fittings are available in 5 colors. The lines carry a lifetime warranty & stay with the bike, not just the owner. I get the lines through my Distributor & when ordered the lines are shipped directly to your door. We have specification listings for several motorcycles & are always looking to get measurements from a new bike (to us or the marketplace). I have complied listings for GoldWings up through the 1500. Unfortunately Mother Honda in her infinite wisdom made the 1800 braking system very good but a big undertaking to get measurements to fit one. Lines can be made up to fit anything as long as measurements can be obtained from center of banjo/fitting to center of banjo/fitting. Normal build/ship time is 2-4 business days. I will be offering these below MSRP so to save headaches will only discuss price through PM's. Please go to www.h-e-lusa.com to see line & fitting color choices. Please be advised that I drive a truck for a living so am on the road from Sunday through Friday (usually) but do have a smartphone & check for messages throughout the day. Thanks for the interest & look forward to helping everyone get stopped a bit better, Andy.

I got a set of these lines through Andy for my 1100 this time last year. What a great improvment to the proformance of the braking system,no more soft feeling brakes, just crisp solid feeling brakes.Stopping distance has decreased as well. They are well built and easy to install. I highly recommend them. I will be putting a set on my 1500 soon. 8-)

I put a set of Venco lines on my 1100 some years ago, and I said then (and still say) it was the single best upgrade I did to that bike. The brakes went from soft and spongy to rock solid, powerful, and precise.

I just purchased a set of these HEL lines from Andy - they arrived in the mail today (Thanks, Andy!). At half the price of the Venco lines, I'm pleased to see that they include new bolts as well as rubber bushings on the lines (which the Venco lines did not include). They look to be of excellent quality, and I look forward to installing them!

My distributor will be offering free shipping on all orders through 12/31/12 within the US. Also we now have the specs for a replacement line for the Gl1800 rear suspension preload adjustment line. Thanks, Andy.

I saw one of these installed on a GL1800 at Cyclemax, it looks good - and solves a long-existing problem.

Hey Andy,

Just got my 1984 Gl1200 standard running ( carb and fuel line rebuild, new forks, new suspension) and my next project will be a complete brake system rebuild. I was wondering price for braided brake lines (front and rear) in carbo for that bike? I would also like hydraulic clutch line priced too.

Thanks for awesome service of selling these lines. I should be ready to order in couple months,

Brandon

I'm wondering if this deal is still available. I've not started the work on the brakes yet, but it would be nice to know it is still available when I do rehab the brakes. 1980 Interstate
Thanks

Ordered and paid for these hoses 16 days ago....still waiting to see them. I have not been able to get a tracking # and was told they would arrive 6 days ago. I understand Andy has a regular job and may not be able to respond immediately but I would like to be made aware of the current status. Bike is all ready to go...now I just need it to stop.

motojo, I do apologize for the delay. Not sure why the tracking number took so long. Druon't have any control over the extremely speedy& highly efficient USPS. I do believe your lines have arrived& hope they meet your expectations, Andy.

Just got my set for my 1997 GL1500SE in the mail. It took just a few days to get them. The set looks professional and bolts and crush washers are included. They also have stainless steel bleeders for sale if you care to change them out, as in northern salt prone areas. Also rubber bleeder covers are available, priced reasonably too. Their website is very informative, all about how brakes work.
They are AMA supporters and give us Goldwingdocs members a nice discount.
take advantage of Sept. 2014 FREE SHIPPING before it is too late if you can.
