What a steal. GL1800 owners: These hand wings are REALLY fantastic. I have a set on my 1500, and they make a HUGE difference. Keeps you warm in the cold, and cool in the heat. They make far more difference than the regular wind wings. If I had a GL1800, I'd be snapping these up!

I do not think so, they mount to the bottom of the mirror, there must be a threaded hole there.

The bike is Titanium and the previous owner put on the red. Not my taste.

What I was thinking. My bike is silver, and I think the red would not be to my taste on it either. I think I will find a set of smoke colored Baker Wings. Looks like I will pay full pop,
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

Correct. The 1800 mirrors have a threaded hole that the wings mount directly into. The GL1500 version might work however - they have a metal clamp that clamps to the plastic frame of the mirror. I worried about the stress making the plastic of the mirror fail, but Gary at Cyclemax told me he has sold hundreds and never had a complaint, so I went ahead with them - and he's right, the mirror is more than strong enough to handle them.
