1982 Goldwing GL-1100 Trike $6003.00

Great trike for first time trikers. Has 1999 Lehmann Kit. Gets 32-35 MPG. 70,808 original miles and still going strong.

In the last year I’ve replaced the timing belts and spark plugs, installed front progressive springs, both front brake pads and rear brake cylinders, had valves adjusted and put on a new front tire. This trike has working fairing instrument cluster (clock, external temp, altimeter, voltage). The original radio face is still on the trike but the “guts” were long gone when I acquired this machine but it now has an AM/FM radio with input for an SD card, memory stick and MP3 player. Other installations include a CB radio with weather channel (helmet with headset and mic goes with trike), 12-volt outlet in fairing, cup holder, switch cluster on right side of fairing that operates aftermarket driving lamps and emergency flasher, and a Cee Bailey windshield (with adjustable vent). It has standard Honda air shocks but no factory-installed compressor. It is wired for a trailer and comes with a hitch. If the lucky purchaser is a PGR member will include a hitch mount for a single flag.

Additionally I acquired a second 1982 GL-1100 for the spare parts value and it is included in the price

What is width of the trike? I have a limited opening in my storage area. How hard is it to push backwards?
I am riding a 82 Gl1100 with a voyager kite, but yours looks sweet.

Thanks Carl

What did you pay for the bike you purchased for spare parts?

It is Lehmann trike kit. I still have it and ride it every week. The kit bolts up to the swingarms. I doubt if Lehmann still makes them.

I have a line on a 82 for 800 with only 48k on it but want to find a used setup of something being a disabled vet on a fixed income sux lol if you decide to part with it let me know ok? Thanks for getting back to me.

Having owned two 82 wings. Please keep the following in mind. If none of this has been done recent it will need( regardless of the miles). If it has been sitting the carbs with need rebuilt, tires, brake fluid flushed, water pump replaced, hoses, timing belts. Make sure two check the exhaust for leaks. I am working on my 3rd set. Their are getting harder to find. They are almost bullet proof motors and not the hard to work on if needed. I have owned two of them would not even think about upgrading to a new model. Our 1100 interstate goes any where we want to. The first had a voyager kit, but I like the true trike much better.

I did the following
New rear tires 72,000 miles New front tire.
Rear brakes new drums, wheel cyclinders, master cyclinder rebuilt and new shoes. 73,000 changed rear end oil.Ford read end.
Hartco new seat, 71,000 miles and windshield.
I changed water pump, antifreeze, all hoses, and thermostat at 79,000 miles. Had Radiator cleaned and tested at shop
Oil change 79,000 miles
New front tire 83,000 miles
Oil change 83,617 miles
Front pads 83,000 miles Front calipers rebuilt.
This comes with a matching trailer(cyclemate). Will not separate, unless I sell trailer first. A almost complete spare 1982 goldwing. Extra complete exhaust system. It is ridden almost every week. Garage kept. No reverse, but easy to push.
Location is between Orlando and Daytona Beach, Florida. Some pictures in my garage.

I ended up with a 87 1200 with paint matching trailer full of parts. It had the head gaskets done before I got it I did the following my self, timing belts, poor boy alternator conversion, new rear tires, new front, new pads on the front, flushed all brakes and clutch, rear brakes were like new as well as drums, rebuilt the carbs with the randakk master kit, synced the carbs, clean up some creative wiring, but it's just not right for me and the fiancee so we're looking for something more comfortable and I'm sure there's stuff I'm forgetting.
