WShadow....I have seen a couple on Craigslist for $5500 and less (I think one is $4500). I will see if I can scare up for you. I always look at Portland and Seattle Craigslists for ideas, etc., etc.

Right now, there are a couple 88s out there that I would recommend looking at just because that was when they first started, and had all the bells and whistles. Look through below, will be good to get another "Northwesterner" out there!

Seattle Craigslist

http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/mcy/3708427065.html Granted it is an 88, but 88s are nice too

Portland Craigslist
http://portland.craigslist.org/yam/mcd/3716799761.html Another 88

http://portland.craigslist.org/clc/mcy/3709686702.html

http://portland.craigslist.org/clk/mcy/3695788791.html An 88, but he just dropped it $500

http://portland.craigslist.org/clc/mcy/3654878745.html a 97 with higher mileage and a little over $5k

thank you for sending me these I will keep in mind the 88's the reason I was looking for 1990 or newer is cause anything less then a 1500 is hard to find parts if needed so i will consider them cause they are 1500

1988 and 89 are 1500s. Totally same, and you are going to find a little issue finding parts for the 1500 anyway (at least new parts). Good thing is that there is a good pool of resources for used parts if needed (like the handlebar controls, etc.). Also, Goldwingdocs is a great resource, so you should have minimal problems.

I understand though on the 1200s and earlier, I have a goofy little hill for a gravel driveway in to my garage and I really like the reverse gear.

Hi,

I have a pristine 1991 Goldwing that I might be interested in selling. I am the second owner and it has 42,000 miles on it and never been down. The bike has been well maintained & always garaged, I have pictures, receipts and a lot of options on the bike. If you are interested I can be contacted at dmerle@cableone.net for more information. I Live in the Boise, ID area so it would be a very nice trip for you.

Thank you,
Richard

I also have an 88 that you can PM me about. I bought it with the intention of putting a tow pac kit on it, but found a complete setup with matching paint on the tow pac as well as a nice trailer also match painted that I could not refuse......So now, don't need the 88.
