F/S 1995 Goldwing GL1500I In Cadott, WI

Postby Doug B. » Mon Mar 10, 2014 7:37 pm

For those of you looking for the ultimate in two wheel touring comfort, here is an opportunity to own a real “Road Sofa”. I am reluctantly selling my 1995 Honda GL1500 Goldwing Interstate which my wife and I have ridden the last two summers. The bike has 72,XXX miles on the clock.

This bike, made in the USA, has received impeccable care, with nothing but synthetic oil/ rear end grease and genuine Honda or Napa Gold/Wix oil filters both by me and the previous owner. New Avon Venom tires with a traditional balance as well as Dyna Beads were installed last spring. I put a little more than 2000 miles on them since installed, and you will see these tires are virtually new. I also changed out the timing belts, rebuilt the automatic petcock, both carburetors were removed, disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned, reassembled and synchronized. The vacuum lines were checked and replaced as needed, and I also installed a new water pump.

Extras include; a trunk top mounted rack, a 3.5mm audio plug which will accommodate your MP3 player, phone or any other audio device with this type audio output. You will note a 5 pin connecter both front and rear for helmet communication and music for both driver and passenger. Rear speakers have also been installed to further compliment the am/fm stereo radio. Scuff plates have been installed to protect the finish from the heels of passengers.

Other than a scratch on the right side saddlebag lid and some scuffs on the engine guards from the previous owner, this bikes finish is virtually spotless. It is truly a handsome motorcycle with plenty of cargo space for amenities to make your touring as comfortable as many other manufacturers only dream of.

I have gotten as much as 49 miles per gallon with this 1500 cc six cylinder “boxer” type engine, and that was riding 2 up in the hills and twisties between Mondovi and Alma. 41 to 45 MPG’s is realistic making this a very economical ride.

$6350.00 cash in my hand and you ride it home with a clear title. You MUST have a valid driver’s license with motorcycle validation to test drive this motorcycle.

Contact me via the forum or call 715-382-4684 or 715-271-3432 and leave a message if we are unavailable. We’ll return the call ASAP. Additional pictures are available upon request.

This Wing is located in Cadott (West Central) Wisconsin

Thanks for looking and keep the sunny side up!

Doug
