Goldwing GL1400 1999 for sale

Postby joggoldwing2013 » Wed Oct 01, 2014 6:36 pm

Hello everybody,
I bought this motorcycle (it runs but needs some make up accessories) with the idea of having it ready for the summer and go around, unfortunately a family emergency came up and used all the funds I had it for my bike, so now because of that I would like to sell it. The price is $2,500 as is. If you are interested , please contact me (umsaphoenix1@hotmail.com) and I would send pics of my bike.

Thank you and have a wonderful autumn season!!

Julian

Sounds like the cheap craigslist ads just to get your email address. 1999 GL1400 title?
1st time poster. Hmmmmmm.

Maybe it's a 1989 that is listed in their profile and not a 1999 that the title says.

I think the curiosity (or more accurately; suspicion) is in that:

- Your profile lists a 1989 GL1500
- You are selling a 1999 "GL1400"
- You are selling said bike for about 1/3 its market value
- The message selling your bike is the first (and only) message you have posted

My suspicions are further raised by the fact that your profile says you are from Salt Lake City, Utah, however your IP address says you are logging in from Wheatland, Wyoming.

I'm looking forward to seeing a picture of a GL1400.
I am wrong as often as I am right concerning what is wrong with someone else' motorcycle without having seen the machine in person. Guessing with limited information, as to the source of the trouble, is sketchy at best.

A check of the email address provided in the original posters first post through an email verification client results in the statement:

umsaphoenix1@hotmail.com - Result: Bad

However, stopforumspam.com did not find this address, so it is not a frequently used address for spam.

Yeah, I checked his IP there as well and it didn't register, which is why I didn't delete him outright. We'll wait and see what (if anything) he has to say.

Hello there,

The short road is always better that the long one. If you have ANY question, you're welcome to contact me directly. I do not understand some of what has been written about my post. In any case, I live in Salt Lake City, UT, my phone number is (801) 759-0138 and I do not have ANY reason to fake or to hide nothing. If you have questions/concerns, please contact me.
FYI I do answer my email too, if you send one to umsaphoenix1@hotmail.com for sure you'll have an answer.

Thank you for the info, perhaps now the price of my motorcycle will go up!!

Have a wonderful day! :)

Julian

No... exist not. Which is why this thread has so many doubtful comments.

GL1400's and unicorns appear in the classifieds with about the same frequency. I've actually seen a Unicorn, however, I've not yet seen my first GL1400
