Nice trike for sale (not mine)

Postby trike lady » Wed Oct 15, 2014 4:05 pm

Someone has a nice looking older Goldwing trike for sale and it looks nice.
It almost looks like one a member of this forum owns, but that may have been a 1200.

Good luck with the sale, its nice.

Upon looking past the last picture of the top row which has solid struts, there are shocks in the following picture. I don't know who's kit that is or if someone made a one off conversion as the frame work is not typical of the kits available.
"100, miles" is that 100,000 miles? On an 1100 motor might be ok but you are not going to have much power for the trike.
You'd do better investing in a 1500 trike plus finding a shop to be willing to work on an 1100 trike might be far and few. The shop I've worked at in SoCal won't. He will only take in 1500 and 1800 wing trikes.

Hey I just noticed this picture of mine, the reason for the solid (shocks) were temporary during installation for adjustment process making sure the adjustable swing arm was square with the frame. yes it is a back yard conversion, take a look at my pictures at fritz's trike

Yea !!! This is mine and yes it is for sale !! if you go to my flickr.com (threewheelsarebetterthantwo) I have posted the complete process building it, I must say it runs well. If i were to do it again I would definitely chose
a GL1500 minimum, but it is what it is.
