I assume this is for your 89 that you traded in for a 1800. The 88/89 had a different rear wheel from the 90-00 if I am not mistaken........ 8-)

I wish I could confirm that. When I purchased it off of Ebay, it was listed as an '88-00 GL1500 rear wheel. I never even looked at the wheel that was on the '89 as I didn't end up doing the tire swap. I had a dealer do it. I will see if I can do some research to find out definitively.

**** Update - I did some looking around and pretty quickly found out that without some parts swapping, the 5 and 6 pin spiders are not compatible. So, unless you want to do some parts swapping to make it work, it will only fit {easily} on an 88 or 89 GL1500. This rim is a 5 pin.
