WTB GL1100 left front caliper and bracket

Postby Firemane0073 » Thu Dec 04, 2014 6:24 pm

Hey guys I'm new to the forum and not really familiar with Goldwings but I am currently building a Cb750 with a GL1100 front end. I have the whole front end but need the left front caliper and the bracket. I do have a pretty much complete 1983 GL1100 that I could offer parts for possible trade. The one I'm looking for is the 2 pot caliper. Anyone have one laying around?

Welcome to the forum Firemane0073
You didn't say what year gl1100 forks you are using.
If you are using the 83 forks in this project, you'll need to get the brackets for an 83 as they mount different to the legs from the 82 brackets. 83 have the trac forks.
If I remember correctly, 80-81 are different too as they're single pot. Not sure of the brackets are swapble to the 82 on the 80-81 fork legs.

The forks are off the 83 and yes I would need the bracket for the left side. From looking at things online I'm certain it's not aspen add model either. I have the right side complete and it does have a small bracket that attaches the two pot caliper to the forks. The forks do not have that triangle bracket protruding out if that helps narrow it down.
