I'm interested in all the rear body work, I recently had a accident where a driver that was not paying attention rear ended me.

damn man, I hope your ok. the bike can be repaired maybe, but your life is more important. from what I can see you'll need at LEAST both saddlebags, the guards, right side exhaust, and is that shock and your rear seating area bent also? I hope im wrong, but the way the pic looks, you might have a bent frame. was that driver insured? if he was, I would insist he or his insurance company replaces your bike or sue him for enough to get yourself a new bike. if your looking for parts, (if its repairable) let me know and i'll see what I can find for ya. there is a motorcycle salvage yard not to far from where I live, they might have the parts you'll need. make a list and let me know.

I'm ok. Not even a scrape or bruise. The only damages were to my bike and gear. The girl who hit me got some minor injuries from her airbag, and they had a hard time pulling the bike out of the front of her car. It was standing strait up and imbedded in the front of the car. The car was dragged about 4 feet when they tried to pull my bike out of the front of it. My cold weather suit and helmet was ruined. The rear of the bike is pretty thrashed, and I have not really looked at it too hard yet. I am supposed to meet with my fabricator this next weekend, and we plan to take it apart to see exactly how bad it is. The rear wheel and right shock are broken, all of the luggage is broken, the seat is pushed up, not forward, just up. In my quick looks so far the frame looks to be still straight, except the rear seat mount area. The front of the motorcycle seems good, but I intend to check everything. I have a lot of work ahead of me checking everything.

Sadly in my state I can only sue the other person for $1000 for property damage. I'm trying to work with her to pay without having to take her to court, the courts around here have a huge backlog, and it would take about a year if I have to sue, so I'm trying to give her a chance to pay before I go through all the trouble of dealing with the courts.

I just hope to get the bike back on the road, I just finished rebuilding her mechanically, and she ran great. If my bike can't be fixed, I'm going to part it out, and look for another goldwing.
