Busted 1500 radio

Post by Jocke » Sat Mar 21, 2015 9:15 am

Interested in a busted 1500 radio unit since I am only interested in circuitboard for the knobs and lamps.
I should make some clearifications, looking for the early model with six buttons on top and three below for eject and direction.
One of the lamps managed to burn two of the curcuit lines on that curcuitbord when it went.

Burned traces on a circuit board can be repaired, I usually take two or three strands of thin copper taken from a wire, shape them in the shape of the trace, then solder either end to the burned ends. As long as nothing else on the board was affected (doubtful if the lamp shorted and caused the burned trace, as they are on a circuit of their own) it should fix the radio.
