Here are a few photos of it now the false tank cover is off the left footboard has been taken off due to trying to replace the starter. The reason the tank cover is off is I wanted to check the coils because when I got it about 3 1/2months ago it ran on the right 2 cylinders but shot gas out the left exhaust pipe. Coils seem OK so probably needs carbs rebuilt because the guy said it had set for a couple years. I replaced the timing belts and changed the oil and filter and that is as far as I got. To sell the whole bike as it sets plus a trunk and another complete fairing with am/fm cassette radio ( factory) another windshield with the fairing too.. I would like to see if I can get 1200.00 or best for it. As you can see it has low miles on it

Well, IF it spits out gas from 2 cylinders, you likely have bent valves due to a broken belt and that's IF your lucky. These engines are opposing and when 1 belt breaks, and the problem you describe, it is gonna need a major engine overhaul of the jugs, pistons, (maybe not but piston pins tend to not like when they hit metal objects). You will be extremely lucky to get 500 out of it. My recommendation is to part it out unless you are very mechanically inclined. However, even if you got through it, and the piston pins didnt get damaged that you can tell, you could put it all back together and still have a DOA patient when you start it back up. Bearings, pinion seals, and cranks dont like when they hit solid objects. You got a boat anchor on your hands
