You would be extremely lucky to find a seat from an Executive.
I have one, Executive that is, with the original seat, I can post some pictures to help you to replicate it.

That would be great, I would really like to see as many as you can let me have.
The seat is being made by a company in Birmingham UK.
The first time they put it on the wrong base but have taken them one and they have re-done it picking it up next week I will post pictures..
Thanks

Sadly mine will only be a look alike, I had a GL1000 in the first year of their release in the 70's but fell in love with the look of the Executive when it was introduced, I think there was only 200 of them, I did have the Rickman Fairing on my GL1000 but when I recently got the one in my profile picture I wanted to learn a lot more about the bike so I could look after it myself.
That has escalated from buying 2 old engines to building a bike, for me the style choice could only be 1 thing (Executive) so any pictures you could let me have so I can get it as close as possible would be most appreciated.
I have the Rickman Type 5 Fairing and the rear luggage rack and crash bars. also I have the Lester wheels.
I have bought a brand new made in the UK exhaust system, better than original steel used.
The seat is ready and all my powder coating and re-chrome is done so in the new year I am ready to start re-building the bike.
If there is any chance you could e-mail me some pictures that would really help me, most of the ones on line show side views which isn't much help for the pin striping on the fairing, I have no idea what the actual colour is other than its black.
The best one ive found is the one with the girl in the leathers sat on it think her name was Dinah??
Regards John
