Wanted: ORDERS FOR 4" PULLEY for alternator conversion

Postby Wilcoy02 » Wed Mar 09, 2016 5:44 pm

I am in the process of putting a poor boy (external alternator) on my 1100 wing.
I have a price of $215.00 to get an Aluminum 4 inch pulley machined for my bike.

If any one wants a pulley made you can Paypal me the cash (send it so I do not pay the % to paypal) by MARCH 31,2016.

Serpentine groove.

I WILL BE PUTTING THE ORDER IN ON APRIL 1, 2016.

I thought yo alrady built your conversion a couple years ago. Did you by anothr 1100 or are you finally getting around to have a one piece pulley cut to replace the temporary Prelude PS pump pulley? 8-)

You must not have read my Alaska trip. My 1100 died in grand prarie Canada.
I bought a 98 valk to finish my trip to the Artic circle and Alaska.

I do not like the valk so I bought an 83 1100 last week. Now I will do all the upgrades to this bike.
So far all I have done is changed timing belts and flushed the rad. New tire came today and the rear tire should be here next week.

I am doing the alt conversion this spring and will put the c5 on after I see how this bike runs.

So since I am getting a pulley cut I thought if any one else wants a pulley it could make the cost go down a little and a chance for them to get a one piece 4 inch pulley.

oh man, I must have been asleep. I had no idea you had huge troubles on your trip. sorry it didnt work as planned.

Of course it makes sense to get more than one cu at a time. dont forget that if you go with a 3.5" pulley instead you dont have to deal with the one timing belt cover bolt modification. 8-)
