FS: OEM Windshield with Vent

Postby dtrider » Sun Mar 20, 2016 7:12 pm

Trying again to sell this windshield. It came off my 2012 GL1800 with less than 10K miles on it at the time. It's been boxed up in my garage since then and is still in good shape - no scratches that I can see. $150 + $30 shipping to the lower 48.

I think so, but I can't swear to it. Unfortunately we just left this afternoon for a two week ride down to Monterey and up the coast, so I won't be able to get any measurements until I get back.

Must be someplace around here to do some part # comparisons. I'll poke around some more. Thanks. Have a good ride.

I'm not commandeering this thread, just a quick question.
ANYONE have a frame of a windshield vent for sale?
I have the vent, no frame.

You would probably get better results by starting a new thread with an appropriate WTB topic. I think most people just scan through the topic titles in the For Sale forum and only go in to a thread if they see a topic that interests then.

I know, was just a quick hat toss at a post with a broken hat hook.

I'm back now. PCH was an awesome ride. Are you still interested in the windshield? Let me know and I'll get whatever measurements you need.

Looks like 02 and 12 use the same part number except maybe the last three digits. Is there a number on this shield?

Would you go $120?

It's Honda part number 64100-MCA-305. I took a look at the drawings on hondapartshouse.com:
http://www.hondapartshouse.com/oemparts ... windscreen
for the 2012, and
http://www.hondapartshouse.com/oemparts ... ndscreen-1
for the 2002.

The first thing that I see is that the 2012 only has three mounting holes in the bottom, while the 2002 has 5. However the WindBender that I replaced it with also has 5 holes, and the installation instructions specify that the extra two holes just aren't used on my model, so I think it probably will work.

I'll do $130, but you'll have to pick up the shipping costs.

PM sent, did you receive? I'll take it for the original price, simpler than me trying to arrange shipping from this end. Let me know your PP info and we'll wrap this up. Thanks

No PM in my inbox here. I sent you one, but just in case they aren't getting through try my email: dwight at dtovey.net. That one should work.
