I have a luggage rack I just pulled off of my 1982 GL1100 Standard. The rack might either fit your bike immediately or be close enough to mess with - I don't know. If you want dimensional information on it I can measure it and send that to you. It has some rust, but nothing other than cosmetic. I don't want it,have converted back to a grab bar, so will let it go for not much + shipping. Shoot me a note if interested

Thanks for the reply on the carrier. As I am in the UK it will have to be mailed over the pond to me. Grateful you let me know if you are prepared to do this and what is the cost plus postage please? How can I pay you?

I didn't realize you were across the Atlantic...I will need to find out about shipping the rack that far. From your perspective, the shipping might make it not worth it, but I will investigate and let you know.

Yes, I agree - too complicated for a rack! Must be a used rack floating around the UK somewhere, good luck. Dave
