Wanted,fairing speaker grommets
Hi,I know this is going to be hard to get but what I'm looking for is the grommets that fit into the fairing so you can screw the grille back in place,my bike is missing the right one, also if anyone has an idea of something that could work in it's place that would be great.

Would nutserts work? They are rubber plugs with a threaded brass center that fit in a hole, and expand when the screw or bolt is tightened into them.

Nope, a nutsert won't do it. That is a body clip, and where you would get one, I do not know. Nutserts are many, and varied. Pics here:

You could also Google "Rubber Well Nuts", they too are many and varied.

Re: Wanted,fairing speaker grommets
Hello,I think I have a solution,I was sitting around today and thought about a small butterfly wingnut, this should hold the speaker grille in place, just put the bolt through the bottom screw hole in the grille and put the butterfly on the other side, then slide it in the slot in the fairing and tighten it up.

Sorry about that. I was looking at the bulbs for myself and guess I had the wrong on in the clipboard when I pasted.walker70 wrote:Hi again, went ahead and bought that grommet before it was gone, the part# was 64258-mg9-931,the part# you listed was for the radio bulb, anyway thanks for the tip.
Glad the eBay site was the right one anyway.
