guess I would be checking google and ebay for the o manual.
as for the tool kit, I am not a big fan of the Honda tool kit. I pretty much believe it's all there to handle most anything but the wrenches are small and I am not much for using an open wrench to slowing turn a nut.

After watching many posts on many forums, I am of the belief that most problems on the road are electrical related. It may take some wrenches to get the tupperware off and seat but I think rust and vibration are our biggest enemies on the road.

All that to say that a screwdriver and open wrench aren't alot of help in these cases.
For that reason I keep this in my saddle and keep the original kit in the garage.

$16 dollars at lowes home improvement.
not the highest quality tools but better than original and needle nose pliers/ electrical tape are on my top 10 list.

Guess you didn't want all this but just my 2 cents.

Actually - I was thinking along the same lines as you for practicality ! The assortment of tools I have on the bike are there for reasons other than esthetic. Your reasoning is sound in my opinion, I wanted a Honda Kit just for originalities sake - and I'll be looking for the kit you have mentioned next time I'm down South !

Thanks !!!

I did'nt have either one when I bought mine. I got the owners manual and I stopped at Harbor Freight and got a C H E A P five dollar set that has a set of metric and sae sockets and wrenches and a few allen wrenches. I am normally a B I G advocate for name brand tools(craftsman) BUT for this instance I went with what I believed would have what I wanted and in a small nylon carrying case. It almost LOOKS like the factory kit.

Sadly - we don't have harbour freight up here in the True North Cold and Frozen.
