Lots of parts, many of them cheaply priced & unavailable elsewhere, but quite a few Chinese knockoffs that may or may not fit, and may fail early, from reports posted by people. Legendary horrible customer service, they will respond with offensive insults if you question them or their products.

Not actually "knock off" parts. The same parts you used to buy from vendors such as Drag Specialties, the rights to produce were purchased, and these parts are manufactured in the exact same factory that produced them with the exact same materials as were used to produce them for the original marketers of the products. If you know what you're ordering, and can read simple descriptions to determine whether a part will fit your bike or not, you won't have any problems.

The worst in customer service and very quick to argue with you. Will ship very fast just like they will take your money. If the part you ordered is wrong or defected, don't even think you can return it or get money back because they will not let go of it no matter how little it is. I don't believe this is a true parts store but someone with a computer and a catalog of parts that has never even touched a bike, do you want to do business with a so called company like this? They have a high rating on ebay only because they sell a lot of parts but if you look closer they probably get the highest amount of negative reports. I would spend the extra few dollars with someone else because it will cost you more to replace a bad or incorrect part. (also posted on GL1200 message board with extra comments)

I was comparing carb vac gauges and mercury sticks trying to make a decision about what to buy. I sent them a simple question via eBay and got the answer below. Then I decided not to buy from them. Then I went to the Naked Goldwing site to try and find more info about these gauges and in short order made my way to this site. I think I was lucky.

My Question: Does this set of gauges have individual dampening and calibration controls?

Their answer: The item is offered as pictured and described, nothing further to add or comment.

My thoughts: That's not an answer. WTF?

My actions: Move on.

I found this page by being so upset with the rudeness and business practices. I could not believe a business made me so upset that I actually tried looking into more information on how to voice my opinion.

Here's my opinion on buying ebay parts from them... DON'T. Spend the Extra $5 bucks with someone else. Even $100. Just Don't buy from them.

Last spring I bought brake pads form her before researching her business, I think it would have been easier to pass the healthcare bill than simply paying for my purchase as their billing service is below standard at best! I recently required a complete carburetor rebuild kit for my '83 GL1100A, due to the economy, price was a deciding factor in attempting to business with them again only to discover that I was blocked. I messaged thru E-BAY and was told that they didn't want my business. I voiced my dismay and displeasure and was told further contact would result in ME being reported to E-Bay for being rude and venal! If that ain't the pot calling the kettle. There will absolutely NOT be anymore attempts to do business with them on my part!

Worst business I have ever dealt with or tried to deal with. No phone, no emails, no customer service. Only payment method is some poor paypal wannabe site. Save yourself and don't use.

I ask her a few questions about a product they are selling and here are the questions and answers:

Q: "Is the floorboard able to be rotated at the time of the instalation so I know if I'm able to se it up perfectly horizontal to the floor?"

A: "No, fold-up function only. Nothing like you are thinking about exists. A guy in AZ tried that concept back in the late eighties and early '90s, and went broke with his Rube Goldberg contraptions which just fell apart as fast as you could try pin and bolt them together. These are fixed where you want them and tightened, with a 90 degree foldup rotation on a pin bolt and thrust washer set-up."

At that time I though that probably did not undestood my question and I ask again mostly the same question and here is the secon answer:

I definitly said this people do not understand my question and I request her something completely different:

A: "We have no further interest. Again, you are attempting a pre-condition. we have withdrawn you ability to carry on this harassment by blocking you as unwelcome. There are other vendors out there, try one, as you seem to be incapable of understanding our terms of offer from which we will give no variance.

I finally understood that this jerks, asholes, with no future will not take any money from me.

They blocked me too from buying their product ONLY because I asked them to add Passage Plugs (that they have in their online store) to their ebay store.

Shoot, I only asked them if they'd have more of an item for sale later - I got the snottiest response from them and they blocked me from bidding. I asked why I was blocked and they replied that they didn't have to have a reason, I should just deal with it.

They did me a favor by blocking me from bidding on their crap.

A week later, my neighbor's carb kits arrived from them - incomplete, hardware and o rings only, no internal parts whatsoever. He complained and they gave him horrible, blazing feedback.

I'm sooooo glad I found this website!

BTW, you know what "Missouri Chrome" is???? Cheap silver spraypaint. That's how I'd equate saber.

bought a water pump from SaberCycle,...it leaked immediately from weep hole................

Saber Cycle basically says "too bad" if it is not BROKE as in broken shaft or something,....then no warranty........it didnt even run 3 minutes.

put in Honda OEM,...........no problem.

they said I needed to demonstrate some failure to them for consideration.....so should I load the bike up, take a week off from work, and head west to show it to them leaking?

dont buy from these people.........buy OEM!

Purchased a water pump (1980 GL1100 refurb) , installed it correctly, started to leak almost immediately out of the weep hole. Checked the installation again, clearly the seal was not the proper one.

Buy OEM and pay the extra - the "good" deal of the pump and gasket isn't a good deal when the seals don't work!

Wish I had seen this website before I purchased this one item - for certain I will never, ever purchase ANYTHING from them again...

I recently contacted SaberCycle on some parts I was needing for my GL1100i. I was curious as to why they, unlike most of the dealers on eBAY would NOT accept PayPal payment.

They never really gave me a reason just that they would never do business with PayPal. I find this curious as PayPal affords both the buyer and the seller some means of protection on their purchases and sales.

When I went back to the sight to order and use their alternative payment system, I found that I was blocked from their site.

Just because I questioned their policy on PayPal??????

I will admit that they have a nice assortment of items and what appears to be good pricing on most of the items. I am however very nervous about dealing with such a flighty group as they appear to be. What is it that they are afraid of with PayPal. Could it be that PayPal offers that protection to the buyers?

Needless to say I will not be doing business with them and would caution anyone else to be careful in dealing with this business. They have never actually done anything wrong of which I have knowledge but where there is smoke there is usually a fire of some kind.

I asked them one time to clarify whether a certain backrest I saw for sale was black or dark gray and the guy went ballistic on me! He called me an idiot because if I would look at the photo I certainly would be able to tell what color it was! Then he goes on to say he was banning me from ever buying from him..... as if I would ever buy anything from that butthead after the way he treated me. Not then, not now, not ever.

I am a certified Honda motorcycle technician with years of experience withall 4-cylinder Gold Wings.

A customer recently purchased a pair of throttle cables from Saber Cycle and brought them to me to install them. The pull cable would not allow full throttle operation and the push cable threads did not fit the threads at the throttle grip attachment point. Sabre Cycle refused to allow my customer to return the cables and send a refund. I advised my customer to NEVER order anything from Saber Cycles again.

Amazing that there are still so many people supporting them, I also had the experience of being insulted and threatned with being reported to Homeland security because i wanted them to send a letter to admit they screwed up in what they entered in the shipping package.

They had listed 6 items at $185, this resulted in a customs duty charge of around 180 dollars for an order of 185. Instead of accepting they made a mistake, she (Gene) blamed it on the shipping software from USPS, there was even negative comments about me being Canadian and a French Canadian, based on my last name.

It's good they are working outside without a store, because if they had a physical location I would think with this many upset customers, someone might take action against them.

We should at the very least file complaints with Ebay over their policies and the way they treat customers. If enough people complained they might loose Ebay as there main sales vehicle.

I have not purchased anything from Sybercycles before. The only communications I had with them was asking about their carb kits. The way their ad was listed I wasn't sure if they had 4 kits to sell or if you would receive 4 kits. When I asked the question I got the "Item as described". I wrote back and said I was still confused and I explained that they listed they had 4 for sale I just wanted to know if it was 4 individual kits or 4 sets of 4. And that the way they had listed it it seemed as though if I purchased I would only receive one kit - enough for one carb. We went back and forth a couple of times. Then I asked if they had the carb manifold to head o-rings. They said they don't suggest anything. I pointed out that they suggested I purchase the o-rings in their carb kit ad. They got mad at me, told me to take my business elsewhere and band me from purchasing from them. I tested that yesterday just on a whim to see if I had been truly banned. Sure enough I've been banned. Which is fine because I can purchase everything elsewhere anyway.

Ok here's my experience with saber suck cycle. I have a 1981 gl1100 and have owned it since day1 anyway 20 yrs ago I bought a Drag specialties rolls royce rad grille and over the yrs the rails started coming loose and vibrating so while surfing ebay I found a gl1100 rad grille So I bought it and when I recieved it , it was for a gl1200 and it didn't fit. I contacted saber suck cycle and he began telling me it was the correct one and I must have modified my bike. Ya right! I told him that I alredy own one and I'm looking at mine and the one he sent the holes were wider apart and it wasn't the same. He said it's for a gl1100 and if I wasn't happy send it back and he'll refund my $. I said I want the grill but the correct one and I want an exchange. All he kept saying on every e-mail reply was send it back I'll refund your $. I said work with me and I got the same responce. I said listen a human packed the box and maybe he or she made a mistake. His reply was, I packed the box, send it back I'll refund your $. Well last year I tried to buy carbs kit from saber suck cycle and I found out I was blocked by them for future ebay sales. So that my story. Modified my bike yah right!!!!

I purchased brake pads from Saber. I had problems with the link they sent to pay through. I recieved a "snippy" email saying I used the wrong link! How that happened...I don't know!!! I was sent a link and I used it and it was the wrong link and that is MY FAULT???
But I chalked it up and went on my way. I also purchased a rear Master Cylinder rebuild Kit from them. Their listing had this disclaimer

BRAND NEW Master cylinder rebuild kit for the rear brake of the ONLY 1982 GL1100.

DISCLAIMER: Item verified against OEM kit. Any variance or misfit will reflect a change of master cylinder which is common practice on older machines or misidentification of model year. We assume no liability or responsibility for any such occurrence.

Well...guess what??? The piston was too large for the MC and to get my bike back on the road I used the old one. It's almost like they are psychic and they KNEW my Master Cylinder had been changed out prior to me getting it!(I would bet her title against a nickel it hasn't been!!!) Maybe what they lack in Customer Service they make up for in knowing what problems their customers are going to have with their parts once recieved!

I wished I would have found this site before I bought from them!!! And they won't have to worry about getting any of the money I will slip by my wife and spend on my bike! SHHHHHH!!!!!!

Bought a Master cylinder o'haul kit,.......CHEAP, of course it didn't fit, casting was to large for the bore. There disclaimer bore out the cylinder for piston to fit. They do claim it won't fit to begin with? They won't use PayPal, so you have no recourse as a buyer. I TURNED THEM IN TO EBAY FOR UNFAIR SELLING POLICIES AND FRAUDULENT DISCLAIMER. DON'T BUY.

Earlier this week I was perusing ebay for parts I need for a 85 Goldwing LTD I've really purchased and have been restoring over the winter. Didn't really need brakes but came across a listing for 3 sets of pads at a really great price. The listing only stated that they would fit a 84 - 87 GL1200 so I sent off a message to the seller inquiring if the pads were the correct item for a 85 LTD, (as the rotor dimensions are different from 85 Interstate & Aspencade). Response received from seller was: "The item is offered as pictured and described. If in doubt, pass".

I was surprised by short reply and blatantly apparent lack of customer service so I mentioned it to a fellow Goldwing rider who was quite familiar with Saber Cycles business practices. After reviewing this site and all the negative feedback reports on ebay regarding Saber Cycles I am so grateful that they didn't take the time to respond properly to my question or else they would have my money.

I took a couple of minutes to respond back to Saber Cycles and indicated to them I was thankful the transaction had not been completed because I had become aware of their reputation. I was quite surprised by a nearly immediate response and can't believe that Saber Cycles actually took more time to respond to my criticism than they dedicated to reassuring me the pads would fit and securing a sale.

Quite a interesting business model, how do they keep the doors open with such a well established history of mistreating our fellow bikers?. Although it's not as insultive as some of the responses I've read Saber Cycles did not dissapoint in firmly reaffirming their blatant lack of concern regarding providing customer satisfaction: "Your loss, you join others like you who bully and insult an entity of which you know little. We have been in the same business continuously for 45+ years and done quite nicely....Good luck in your hunt! Regret that you have to miss out on many upcoming key parts, such as carb slide diaphragms and ignition lock sets, which ARE NOT available at Honda any longer for GL1200, but will shortly be from us. You's require a proxy buyer for them. And, FYI, we dumped B to B long ago, too many deadbeats, con men, and bullies, which we have watched some and go since 1964, and even prior. Sorry, but our feedback refutes your gratuitous statements, and reflects badly on your choice of words and thought processes. It is your money to waste elsewhere, but it appears you would rather dwell in contention and third part innuendo and manufactured complaints (a lot of our competition are hurting simply because they cannot compete), so good luck to you

I ordered a starter relay from these jokers, the parts was obviously completely wrong, then they argued with me about it? Would I waste my time if it was the right part, it was the worng part, for a different bike. I don't even think the people who run this outfit have a Goldwing. After reading what a crook this person is on many many boards (I wish I had researched before ordering) I decided to cut my losses and order from one of the other goldwing dealers, all of the other popular goldwing parts dealres have great reputations, it's amazing this one has to be so bad. Well I believe that Karma always makes things even in the end and unchecked greed will go punished.

My nightmare lasted longer. I am the previous wife of Mr. Bileski. (number 3). The reason I am writing is that he has all my certificates in his possession and he would not return them to me. I will refrain from additional stories but even I had a hard time recognizing what he had turned onto.

After a long, drawn out fight with the idiots at Saber I was really happy to find this site. The shame is that they do have SOME interesting stuff. Here is the info on one of the companies that does a lot of there reproduction work. In my experiance these Chinese outfits have ZERO loyalty and will sell whatever they are making to anyone willing to pony up the money. Maybe we can get someone to ELSE to import this stuff and never have to deal with these folks again. Just a thought...

OMG!! What a friggin @$$hole!

I bought some shocks from their eBay store and 1st off had to deal with the crappy auctioncheckout.com payment process. I received my shocks from them and they were scratched and dented. The packaging was completely intact. He blamed it on USPS. When I told him that the packaging was fine and that the shocks were damaged prior to shipping he said:

The items was shipped well protected. If you have issues with concealed damage, take it up with the carrier. If you need them as you say, then there is nothing we can do. We insure items when shipped, and shipping cover loss or damage according to both UPS and USPS. Claims for damage should be made to them. We deliver goods FOB Kansas City, Insured, and once in the carrier's hands, title passes to the Buyer.

I got the shocks but they were scratched and dented up. The box was fine and the packaging in tact. They were put in the box in this condition. I need the shocks on the bike as it is my only means of transportation so I can't return them and be without. Are the shocks used or "scratch and dent"? I thought they were supposed to be new. You also said they were "Item is described and pictured". I did not get the shocks in the picture. I got scratched/dented ones in a box with foam.

You paid for insurance. Packages can are are subject to very rough handling. Internal impact and compression damage can easily occur, especially in the mechanical handling machinery processes in use by both UPS and USPS, as well as careless human handling such as dropping, and/or improper load placement The item was given to the carrier in new and undamaged condition. We do not replace at anytime, insured or not insured. Damage, concealed or apparent, is the responsibility of the carrier.

Not a nigthmare a blessing.. I was interested in thier carb kits for GL1100 on eBay. I asked a question "What brand are they?" They responded by saying they didn't have to tell me, (revealing a source I guess). I asked why not, after a few back and forth emails they called me names and banned me from buying form them on ebay..

Gene Bileski is Canadian and the original owner of Saber Cycle. He married Diane Krizek less than 10 years ago who has helped him take his business to the worldwide web. Ebay responses most likely come from Gene, however on occasion from Diane. I know this because I worked there. Diane posts all blame on Gene's Ebay attitude, yet I have witnessed first hand, her own customer service, on top of the way she treated me while impatiently training me. These people do not trust to hire outside of family, the do not apoligize, and yes, they black list customers who I feel are only standing up for themselves with legitimate concern. Gene does not want anyone to answer the phones and deal with customers, as he relayed that he has put in too many years of that. Yes parts are replicated in China, leading industry of toxic waste, and I agree, the prices are not worth the arrogance and vindictiveness that they display to even family.

I am the owner's daughter and step-daughter. Although I expect unpleasant confrontations as a family member, I suppose I did not expect to be treated with the total disrespect I was as an employee. I quit today after two months of verbal abuse, and from that I received vindictive behavior. This is my own mother for g-d's sake. My apologies to all, but as cheap as they get their parts, they will need alot of boycotting to go out of business.

i have a 75 goldwing and have been ordering parts from saber cycle for awhile and had no problem until i went onebay once and without noticing found a part i needed and bid and won, however i was getting ready to pay and noticed that i was money order only and not paypal as all others use. when i told them that i didnt notice it til a was ready to pay, that i wanted to know why not paypal there answer was if you dont like it find someone else and that there was nobody else. i have found i may pay more elsewere but they treat me better.

claims broad application install on parts that have narrow application. Very poor and pissy attitude. Do not buy here. You save on the front end and lose on your end!!

Cheap parts. no really cheap parts, crappy customer service, crappy parts. Do not use these people, they are not much better than thieves. I bought head gaskets that didnt fit properly leading to water leaks and oil leaks.. Honda gaskets worked as expected...

Only source for GL1200 CV slides... However, slides were randomly misaligned during manufacture, causing poor engine performance and cylinder unbalance. They refused to acknowledge problem or make restitution.

If I could rate the guys "zero" I would. Purchased an ingnition switch from them, Barracuda brand, failed immediately in same manner the swithes did that forced Honda to recall theirs back in 84 - 85: bike would be running and then all of a sudden; loss of all ignition - dead as a doornail. Within a very short period of time (under a month), my entire set of keys fell out of the ignition. Loss all my keys with one being irreplaceable. Filed with the KS BBB and am currently filing with the Kansas State AG. These folks, their written record (all documented in their own words) along with a video of my failed ignition switch, will of course open a can of worms with the AG as in my particular case, the defective item represents a safety failure that I will work it up the "consumer protection food chain" Steer clear of these folks. The worst experience I have ever had with an online vendor. I ordered timing belts because they were cheaper than everywhere else that I looked. When they arrived, I had two different timing belts! I'm not kidding, two different sized timing belts, for the same engine! When I contacted them, they very rudely told me that the belts sent were correct for my bike, and that I must be mistaken, and if I didn't feel comfortable working on my own bike I should take it to a competent mechanic! I checked with my mechanic and he confirmed that one of the belts was the wrong size. He also said that the belts were so cheaply made that he would not put them on any bike he worked on, and suggested I return them. I contacted Saber Cycle again and got an EXTREMELY rude message back. They told me I was obviously incompetent and shouldn't be working on my bike, then banned me from buying from them again! No problem there, I will never buy anything from these idiots again! When I asked to return these belts, they simply refused to reply to me. I bought a replacement belt from NAPA as suggested here, when I took it home and compared it to the Saber Cycle belt, the Saber Cycle belt was obviously crap. It felt plasticy, was narrower, and was stiff. The NAPA belt was made from a much higher quality material. No surprise being that the NAPA belt was made in USA, and the Saber Cycle belt was made in China. I decided to cut my losses, I didn't want to destroy my engine because of a cheap belt, so I threw away the Saber Cycle garbage and went and bought another NAPA belt. Take my advice, don't buy ANYTHING from these crooks! Their stuff is cheap, but it's underpriced garbage, cheap Chinese parts. And when they ship you the wrong item, they tell you it's your own fault and refuse to make up for their mistake. STAY AWAY!!!

These crooks will RIP YOU OFF with their SHODDY PRODUCTS! I bought their own Barracuda brand "big foot" kickstand for my GL1500. Two days after I put it on, I came outside and found my bike laying on its side. I got it back up and discovered that the kickstand had SNAPPED RIGHT OFF. It was made out of what looked like cheap pot metal, and had snapped right below the hinge part. I emailed Saber Cycle about it and they told me it was my fault for overloading the bike, and that they stand behind their products. WHAT?!? I told them that the bike was not overloaded, it was just sitting there, that the kickstand was obviously defective, and that I wanted a refund. They said someone must have climbed on the bike and caused it to break or that it was hit by a car (what?!?!), called me a profane word that I won't repeat here, and then banned me from ever ordering from them again. Like there is any chance of that happening!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS, they sell cheap Chinese JUNK that will BREAK as soon as you put it on your bike!!!

Head gaskets DO NOT FIT GL1100 and 1200 both, the cylinder sizes are different and they claim they are they same and they are stupid. When you tell them you did the work yourself and it still leaks in some way than they say you don't know how to work on your bike and shouldn't even try, or shouldn't wake up in the morning... Saber cycle is incredible rude and should be sewed
