Re: Please tell who or what made you buy a Goldwing

Dealers just don't want to work on anything that is more the 6-8 years old. Some will go 10 years, but very few. Plus most of the "techs" are kids,18-25 years old. They don't know about the older stuff and have no interest in learning on the job. They just know what the lastest tech school...

Re: What Were The Worst Riding Conditions You Ever Experienced?

Well this story is not the worst trip as I have already posted that story. Here is a short sweet version of it. It was 29 degreess out and I was on a 3 lane freeway and no cars behind me or going the opposite direction. Bottom line, freeway was closed do to ice, I was on the closed road for over 50 ...

Re: Not riding? How do you keep yourself busy?

Well now, I have been doing all sorts of yard work. I've got lots done, no honey do list, (not allowed to have one) just things while I was working I did not have time to do. I also got my hand fixed, it's been 3 months now and I have 2 more months to go, if I'm good. (so hard). Stay safe everybody....

Re: GWRRA Members ???

dadiam,
But, But, the 2018-2020 wings handle so well. You don't need to tour on them. Just look at all the young people your new wing will attract. Sort of like a HD. Besides, if you want more storage space, you can spend lots of dollars in the aftermarket industry.

WingAdmin,
Everybody keep telling me "no big deal, it's just a finger" The doc said it would hurt a lot, guess who was correct. Today with help I got to 60 degrees, up from last week. My therapist is a sadist. But she good, is it bad to say I enjoy the pain because I get movement??

Thank you all.

I wish to thank everybody who has been so kind and put up with me for the last 2 months. My hand surgery was a lot tougher then I ever thought. It's just a hand after all, not anything like a heart or some major organ, just a hand. But I have had problems dealing with the lack of use and my own conc...

Crusty1, I will. It will be mid to late 2021 before I can attempt that goal. Virus depending. My hand is doing better, I have gone from 18 degrees to 41 degrees of movement. I need my therapists help to get those numbers, but I work at it daily, I will get there with out my therapists aid. Now, I'll...

Re: Madstad owners! I would appreciate your input.

Thanks guy for the good information. I do like how easy it is to adjust the height on the fly, proper lawyer language followed of course. Do you get any more air coming in from the sides of the shield? It looks a bit narrower then the OEM one, could be the pictures I have seen versus reality however...

Okay, your explanation  makes since. I do like the idea that IF needed you COULD adjust the shield on the fly. Of course you would want to keep your hands on the handlebar at at all time. He He. People who have this shield discuss the bars not being in your vision, or you get use to it nd...

Hi, I have some questions about the Madstad windshield. I'm a bit slow on understanding things now, but after reading and rereading plus looking at the excellent pictures by AZgl1800, thank you. I still am confused. I even saw a post from ?? about installing this windshield. In the post the poster (...

Crusty1, Are you in the "real" Kansas or the OTHER Kansas, as in MO? We have family in Atchison, we try get there every year, sometimes it turns into 2 years. Some family members have moved to Platte City. I so want to ride the 36 its whole length. No matter which one you are in, I will le...

Terry D, It sounds like you have a great group of people in your chapter. You do a lot like we do at RCMC. We even host rides and advertise with flyers and in the AMA magazine. Sometimes it's hard to get things to change when you are the "new" person. So it's better to move on if change is...

Dubdenny, One should consider the motorcycle dealer dilemma. Do they gouge us on new bike prices (like HD does)? Or, new "common" parts for motorcycles (like HD does)? You know, that are used on other viechle's as well, or do they gouge us for service? Or do they gouge us for asking questi...

They show you in full color what to do with your passenger. DON'T HAVE ONE!!!! TAKE SHORT DAY TRIPS!!!! See, now all storage prob...

Maybe the poster had a finger studder and meant the 13868. But who at this stages knows? I would use the one that has the bypass hole.
