Re: Poor Boy vs Stator Replacement
CAMillion - "The poor boy gives you the security of probably never failing again but I personally think it looks like hell." Have to disagree. It depends on how you do your work and what you will accept. Here's my install, pardon the mess, just finishing up the repaint of my 1500, then on...

Re: Moly 60 Paste
From what I have ben reading it is either Locktite lb 8012 which lists 60 -100 % moly. Or T/S Moly TS 70...70% Moly weight by volume. The pict is from the Honda Service bulletin 99-030. Here is my big issue Previously I had a GL500. The book said any multipurpose NLGI 2 grease with moly was ok. With...

Re: Moly 60 Paste
There has been years of discussion on the content on many forums of the suitability as it was listed by Honda as a brake pad backing paste. Not listed for splines in HOnda own service bulletin.

Re: How to connect ext audio to GL1200 radio
So when you plug your ext music player into the pigtail what controls the volume if the radio is off? Ok also the 2 red dots. Each dot gets one leg of the resistor soldered to it. The other end of each resistor goes to the leads (L&R) to the earphone plug. Then the shield goes to a ground locati...

Re: GONE TO THE DARKSIDE
the wintersport is a fantastic tire but there is one big issue. I don't know of anyone that has ever been able to mount one by hand. when I put the first WS ROF on my wing it took 3 of us on the powered motorcycle mount machine to get it on and then it took 115 PSI to get it to seat properly. after...
