....and yes ive tried following the noise, but it doesn’t come from anywhere in particular, although I haven’t the best hearing...

Hi 75 gl1000 I’ve pulled my turn signal buzzer (aka truck reversing horrible noise maker) out, the one in the front left of the triple clamp area, but it still buZzes. So the early to late carbs don’t swap so well, even though they all bolt on ok, but How interchangeable are the 1975 and 1976 Goldwing carburettors? yeah im going to get a mechanic friend of mine to have a good look when he can, this guy does a 5 part video series about putting back a gl,

he makes it look very easy. the honda manual makes it look very hard-and the pictures are terrible.

gday guys. ive got a 75 gl1000 with rythmic clicking from the transmission region whenever the shaft is turned. ujoint is ok, driveshaft is ok, when the wheel and shafts are out, the clicking still happens when the shaft rod bit is turned. a mechanic said is probably bearings in the transmission or ...

Thankyou for the replies. No I won't be doing any riding til I get to the bottom of it. It clicks while rolled in neutral then when on the center stand it makes horrible grinding noises when the wheel is spun.
