Side panels

How or what is a good way to secure/tether the side panels... I notice when replacing the relays to the 40 amps relays that one of the grommets holes is missing ...I'm like everyone else don't want or wish for any of them to fly off and asking what is the best way to secure/tether them so if they do...

Re: Horn

Okay, question as we are talking horns here, has anyone use GL1800 horns on their GL1500 ? The one GL1800 horn I heard, I think was stock, was loud as heck. . . . I have the same question. The 1800 horns sound good and are plenty loud. Just wonder if they would fit in the 1500's normal horn locatio...

Re: what would cause...

I found out what is causing the dreadful popping/clicking noise.... I called Sierra-mc and was advised to try the other headset, which I hadn’t opened... thinking it was the Deck/CB ...well it’s the headset... shipping it back to Midwest Cycle Pro for and exchange... like to thank everyone who offer...

Re: what would cause...

Well I found the C311 Red connector ... its a tight squeeze to get to... tried to separate the connector and couldn't... could see the catch that you have to push down to pull the connector apart, I just wasn't able to do it... just wish I had smaller hands ... just find it frustrating 8-)

Re: what would cause...

Dumb question but, did you switch from speakers to headset on the radio? I forgot to do that on mine when I first bought the headset and took me a little while to figure what was wrong. This was my first Goldwing. I now use the Sena wireless headset and am happy with it. Russell Those who say it ca...

Re: Asking for advice.....

Yes the F4 is scratch resistant. Yes the vent is worth it. It will be the last windshield you need to buy! You can clean it with windex and paper towel. Mines the F4+4 tinted and vented. Well worth the money X2 The F4 is a hardcoated GE Lexan MR-10 , NASCAR uses the stuff, it is that good. https://...

I bought "iMC motorcom HS-G130P" headset for the 1500.... wanting to take advantage the features that the Goldwing audio system offers.... after setting up the helmet and plugging in the 5 pin connector all I heard was a loud popping noise out of one of the speakers in the helmet ... I double check ...
