Re: Lost my lockable right glove box cover
I'll just carry an extra key if I can't get it rekeyed, I rather not be locked out of my gas tank and you know it would be out of town when it got missing, and I go in the gas compartment more than I do the glove box unless I'm grabbing my air gauge to check tires.

Lost my lockable right glove box cover
Can't seem to find one list on Wingstuff, found the boxes for sale but no cover, That will teach me to check my tire pressure, I guess I didn't get the cover locked back in and I couldn't find it on the road but being in heavy traffic I'm sure it got destroyed. If someone can point me to where I can...

Re: display screen going out
Have to take it apart and check, since it doesn't do it all the time, I was figuring that but wanted to ask first, be nice it there was an easy way to get to the connector but then if I was rich instead of being so good looking, it would be someone elses problem lol

Re: Moving a disabled bike.
I dropped mine just trying to roll it forward to check the real tire pressure from the right side and foot slipped on me, I was able to let it down easy and picked up back on side stand, then moved it from the left side.

Re: REBUILDING CARBURETORS
I need to find someone local in Orlando Florida area to rebuild mine, running so much better after putting 2500 miles on it with non ethanol fuel and sea foam, getting 36 MPG if shifting early and often. Still have a rich smell idling, not as bad but still have some, would rather have someone who kn...

Re: Moving a disabled bike.
MC jack, love mine and use it every time I pull it in the shop to put it away, I jack it up and turn it around so it is ready to drive out , no backing it out down a ramp to turn it around on the grass, I just hit the gate control and drive out and shut both up and ride. I got a good deal on Pit Bul...

Re: Memphis Shade Windshield
What has everyone got with looking through a windshield, did you remove the one on your car too ??? I just wonder, I had the plus four inch on my Vetter Fairing on my 81 CX 500 and loved it as it was my full time ride back then, kept the rain off me while moving and helped keep me warm on long cold ...

Re: Best Way to Clean Wheels?
That is where I lucked out in getting a Pit Bull MC jack, I can jack it to 27 inches high to polish, but done it lower so I could put in on the locks and make it solid.
I also use it when I pull in my shop, I pick the bike up and spin it so it is ready to drive out, no backing in out

Re: Running rich I think
I think miles, ethanol free gas and Seafoam fixed my carb problems, last night I came home from a ride and my idle was at 1200 steady, so I turned it down to 800, it held steady, no jumping in RPM's At idle all I smell now is Seafoam, not smelling gas fumes, So took it for a good ride this morning ev...

Re: I think i have a polishing problem
I bought it the 5 of March, when I had three big remodeling jobs going, rear brakes wasn't working then so have got a lot done in a short time, replaced timing belts added LEDs, new tires and learning how to work on a Gold Wing after not having a bike for 35 years. Then I had to learn stuff I never ...

Re: I think i have a polishing problem
Wind in Orlando was 16 mph gusting to 28 mph, I did get it out for a quick ride and was getting pushed around by the wind more than I like and today it is raining, don't want to get all that work dirty yet!!! Re: Best Way to Clean Wheels?
I used Flitz metal and fiberglass cleaner on my wheel, haven't got to the rear yet, since it can't be seen I will just clean them to a brushed finish, next tire change I might do more. I used a dish sponge with the green scrubby on it to do rough cleaning and the brushed finish on main part of wheel...
