Not being locked is how I lost the last one on the road, it blew off

I'll just carry an extra key if I can't get it rekeyed, I rather not be locked out of my gas tank and you know it would be out of town when it got missing, and I go in the gas compartment more than I do the glove box unless I'm grabbing my air gauge to check tires.

Mine wasn't crome on the edge but it seems to be the only one on line, then I will have to find a lock, so I ordered it

It stays inside and hasn't been rode far in the rain, I got caught in a downpour last week but was able to fine cover till the worse was over, that didn't change anything though and it was doing it the last few months, just been to hot to ride much in FLA unless at night

I dropped mine just trying to roll it forward to check the real tire pressure from the right side and foot slipped on me, I was able to let it down easy and picked up back on side stand, then moved it from the left side.

That is where I lucked out in getting a Pit Bull MC jack, I can jack it to 27 inches high to polish, but done it lower so I could put in on the locks and make it solid.
