Re: What's on your winter to-do list?

Sadly I will be putting my up for sale. I am not interested in trimming it, and am buying a Spyder. The Wing has been a great ride. Couldn't ask for better. But the health issues of the past have had lasting residuals. Keeping the Wing up at stops does. It always work well and my wife, as well as my...

Re: Rider magazine editorial

It won't matter to me once I sell my Wing. Having to go to 3 wheels will change all that, unless I Trike it.

Re: Do you wear your " Helmet "

Every one has the option to wear a helmet or not. I look at it as a form of genetic cleansing if you take the chance of not wearing one.

Re: Do you wear your " Helmet "

The only time I do not wear a helmet is when I am not on the motorcycle. Period! And then sometimes, if I were smart, I should wear it other times also. :o

Battlefields

A group of Wing riders (5) and 1 Beemer (ride leader) are on an excursion to several Civil War Battlefields. I left home around 6:15 AM on Saturday, May 31st, met up with the group an hour later on the north side of Cincinnati. Then followed our leader to Gettysburg, PA. We spent the day on Sunday p...

Re: My opinion 1800 vrs 1500

I have never ridden a 1500. I would like the increased storage space, but we manage pretty well with what we have. We do not pull a trailer and take many rides of 1 to 2 weeks with all we need to carry. The way the 1800 handles is great and I can't imagine stepping backwards to a 1500 just for more ...

They give me their license with motorcycle endorsement. They get it and what they rode in on, whether bike, car or truck, when they get back.

Re: Report from the Cleveland Motorcycle Show

Thank you so much for a good review of what may be the best show of the area. I was unable to attend and was glad to see your report. It looks like the GL1800 is a fading memory of technology. I am not a big fan of the technology, but the mechanics, say a 6 speed transmission, electric windshield, f...

Re: GWRRA Members ???

When our chapter lost it's officers due to outside circumstances and another group offered to take over, GWRRA said they had to pay their own training costs, even though they had been directors and officers in the past. Things just kind of fell apart at that stage and we dropped out. It is still in ...

Re: GWRRA Members ???

We gave up our membership a couple years ago. The few in our chapter that rode only rode from breakfast to lunch with about an hour in between. The Gold Book was the only reason we stayed in as ling as we did. When GWRRA started charging for the leadership (mandatory for officers) no one would take ...

They will let us know when they want us to know. Honda is good at that. Don't believe anything any one says, prints, alludes to or comments on until Mother Honda puts out the real thing.
