Re: Re:Air Compressor leak

Before I'd tear apart the compressor, I would replace the schraeder valves in the control panel. That's where my leak was!

Re: bee/hornet in shirt

Back in my Navy days (66-70) I was riding my 350 Honda scrambler through the Sacramento Valley trying to see how fast it would go, got close to 90 when a bumble bee hit me in the chest, that felt like I was hit with a rock!

Re: Questions regarding "older" men and Goldwings

My body may be 68 years old with a few aches and pains but my mind thinks I'm a lot younger, so handling my 1100 hasn't been a problem. I hope my mind never catches up to my age!

Wow Wingadmin, you better start planning what you are going to do for Mrs. Wingadmin for Valentines day after all the praise and glory she laid on you. You are both great people, we need more folks like you guys in this word!

Re: I need a little help

My sincere condolences and prayers for you and your family, I just found out that I have prostrate cancer and am going in for surgery in a couple of weeks, but this is nothing compared to what you have gone through. I'll be praying that life will greatly improve from here on out for you and your fam...

Re: SO IT's NOVEMBER WHO'S STILL RIDING?

I got a nice ride in yesterday with the 60 degree weather, the ride was perfect. May hit 60 again today but it may rain. This weather can stay until spring and then warm up 5 more degrees (wishful thinking for Michigan).

Re: It is time to say goodbye.

That would be a nice one too, just don't know the availability of parts out there. Almost bought a restored 1952 MG when I was in the Navy way back when, now I kick myself every time I'm reminded of it.

Re: It is time to say goodbye.

That's my thoughts exactly, if I ever give up the Goldwing, I'd be looking for a Miata so the fun would continue, good luck in your new venture.

Re: Parking Stand Good Idea & Reverse Gear Is Great

I too use the HF stand on my trailer for transporting my 1100, works great and holds the bike well for strapping down and when releasing the straps. Reverse would be nice for backing it out of the stand, but I have to rock it out.

Re: RAIN AND MORE RAIN

Maybe if we all sing the 'rain, rain go away song' in unison, we can get it to stop. After my last ride last Thursday, parked the bike in the garage the next day there was a puddle under it and it wasn't from the rain, looks like I have a water pump job in my future.
