Stuck at home, thanks old man winter

Stuck at home today because of this lovely snow. So I'm sitting here looking at my last years ride photos and reminiscing about the warm summer months. Just curious what others are doing on this lovely day. :o

Re: new to goldwings

i pulled the bike out after a short hibernation(been busy with my new house the last few weeks) amazingly it started up and ran great, had no leaks and sounded good. only problem i had was the radio would not come on, think i bumped a wire off when i hooked up the battery tender. im curious, how man...

Re: new to goldwings

i replaced the mechanical seal when i rebuilt the pump, had the original bakelite impeller so it was an original pump when i rebuilt. thinking my cooling system is over-pressurizing, or i damaged one of the o-rings during reassembly.

Re: new to goldwings

Re: new to goldwings

the fan runs just fine, the weep hole is dripping at the rate of about one drip every minute, hope this will seal up with a little use, other than that the job went pretty good. i would recommend rebuilding the pump to anyone who can change wheel bearings. other than their size it is almost identica...

if you are concerned about ethanol in ur fuel most walmarts carry, in their marine areas, a fuel additive enzyme i believe is called Startron. my dad uses it in his boat to help relieve ethanol problems. here is a link to their website as well http://mystarbrite.com/startron//content/view/100/136/la...

Re: Safety checks are worthwhile

good advice, i do roughly the same thing everytime i pull the bike out, but i also do a quick tire check, not for nails and such, but for low looking tires, and check the oil at least. its also a good time for helmet and gear checks, at least once a week i inspect my helmet and other riding gear for...
