Re: Fork Modification

Unfortunately on trikes, until you remove the cap and the springs, there is really know way to know. You are correct that it has extension fork caps. Trike people will add those to lengthen the fork. Often it is done after an easy-steer triple tree is added. An easy steer triple tree increases the a...

Re: Idle slowly going up on 06

That helped. Now my question. Why did it help? Is the computer waiting for this as a procedure or is there some other magic? Be sure you battery connections are clean and tight and have your battery tested. Also, be sure that the amp/hr rating of the battery is correct for its year. For an 2006 it ...

Re: Upgrading the front forks. What springs to use?

Even if you put in new OEM springs, your ride quality will greatly improve. Having tried Progressive and Traxxion products, I prefer the Traxxion. If you do decide to go with an aftermarket spring, the front will rise about 1" and when using your side stand, the bike will lean over father on the sid...

Re: F1 light

The fault only clears by following a procedure. To do that requires removal of the seat and shorting 2 wires together with the use of a special connector, and following a list of instructions. The FI light only comes after or while the fault occurs. In most cases, once it come on, it will stay on un...

Re: F1 light

No ... the FI light (fault indicator) monitors PGM-FI (programmed fuel injection system). Basically the system includes sensors that send a signal to ECM (engine control module) to change air/fuel mixture and ignition timing. It has nothing to do with the turn signal circuit. What year is your Wing ...

The only seat that I know of that is waterproof is the OEM one Honda provides. All others have stitching which can allow water into the under fill.

Re: Will it fit & work?

In a tire we're referring to a gas and not a liquid or solid. You might have had more college physic then me; however, when studying engineering, in the three I had, we'd use Boyle's law for this. Boyle law has everything to do with volume and pressure, and has nothing to do with the measurement of ...

In any case, be sure to pull the left cover off on the underside of the handlebar. Check for shorting wires especially near its screw points.

I seriously doubt there is any significant difference for the 2004 model year, and I bought a 2004 ECM and put it in my 2002 bike, and it solved the problem. It runs perfectly.

It sounds like you are speculating, or do you have the ability to verify ECM programming ???

Re: Will it fit & work?

Probably not relevant to OP question but the construction of the tire is a determining factor in establishing the load range. Type of construction as well as number and material of plys. That is true. A tire's weight carrying ability is all about air volume. For a tire, greater air volume is achiev...
