Re: Monotubes VS Traxxion

Because of many issues that others report with Progressive stuff, here at my shop, we only install Traxxion products. In my case, I have many customers who do continental tours, long summer rides, or use their Wing for weekend get-aways. In my opinion Progressive are good for ones who just go on lun...

Is it possible to remove fork springs and replace with Progressive springs without removing forks from bike.?
Yes ... but instead of Progressive, a one-size fit all spring, you might want Traxxion springs instead. They'll sell you ones more custom to your riding style and wight.

In my mind, not more then 140lbs ... anything heavier then that, and ... well :( However, it varies by trike manufacture. The best way to find out is to go to your trike's Owner's Manual. Re: Radio Issues

There are a couple of places to send your radio off for repair. One is to Panasonic's Authorized repair center in LA, CA. I believe another is to Sierra Electronics.

Re: Radio Issues

Over the years, CD players have had problems. I'd start with disconnecting it to see if the radio works with the CD player disconnected. Never jumpstart, or hook a battery charger up with the key and the radio on ... damage can occur and many DIYs have paid the price for that mistake. If you have a ...

Re: Clutch problem

None goes in the rubber diaphragm. The diaphragm is the gasket or seal to keep it from leaking out. I too would suggest that you take it to a m/c shop for assistance.

BTW - forgot to ask regarding recommended hydraulic fluid if that's what I need. The type of fluid needed is wrote on the m/c cover. It will say brake fluid type 4. As for your other issue. My thoughts: - be sure to be changing the clutch fluid per Honda recommendations ... every 12k or sooner - be...

Did they say why the rear brake m/c was not replaced per SB-23 ???

Also, you should have paperwork showing what they did even if it is covered under a recall.

Re: Flushing Brake System

My question is, can the front brake system be flushed without flushing the rear system? If so, would a Honda dealer, really flush just the front system and not touch or mention that the rear system should be flushed? Is the brake system on the MT kit designed such that a Honda dealer won't flush it...

Re: Trailer Hitches

There are many to choose from. The first thing to know is what you are using your hitch for. If towing, you will want a 6 point. I believe there are 3 manufactures who make them. I've always used a BushTec. It allows me to remove the rear wheel through the back fender area, and theirs attaches to th...

Check your reverse cable adjustment. Per Honda's Maintenance Schedule, the reverse operation and a possible needed cable adjustment needs inspected every 8,000 miles.

Yes ... but it takes a coil tester like the old Sun scopes of the 70s had.

The adjuster body is part #30. The windscreen attaches to it.

Re: Starter Motor Replacement

My question is: would I be better off with a used GW starter motor, or a new aftermarket motor, ie Mitsuba. Go with a good used one. You can easily replace the brushes and springs if needed and they are a permanent magnet type so there’s only an armature that could electrically fail. Are you sure y...
