Your picture is of no help. However, there should be a threaded hole for an oil pressure sending (OPS)unit to screw into above the oil filter. If there is no OPS threaded into it and when running, a lot of oil will squirt/flow out of it.

Why do you need a battery tender ??? So you can get 5+ years out of a battery instead of 1-2? So you always have a full charge on the battery? I keep my bikes on tenders all the time, even though the longest I go without riding is a few weeks, but batteries last for years. I plug mine in every time...
