Re: Third Annual GoldwingDocs Gathering - Sep 11-15, 2019

He needs the $$ to get the shirts made. 20 shirts x $20.00 = $400.00. He probably does not have extra cash to front every body. Then if someone does not show up (weather, family crisis etc.. ) then he is stuck with a bunch of shirts. He requested if no paypal then contact him. Hope to see everyone t...

Re: removed rear wheel and right rear Shock separated

The oem should be all you need. Your shock should still be usable IF THE THREADS are not stripped. You did not show the springs. If there are 2 springs inside then someone has already changed to progressive springs. If not then I would put progressive springs in. 40 year old springs is asking a lot If...

If I recall correctly the 80 had low spring pressure, on the tac. That would be where the wire you have goes.

Check this video out.

This will show how you can put your shock back together.

Re: Clarion radio repair

With no info This is a guess. I am assuming it is a clarion II radio. Sierra electronics is the only place that still works on these dinsours.
They are a good radio. Give them a call and they can tell you everything you want to know.

Hand crank the engine to see what noises you get. Crank it from the rear of the engine. That will give you an idea of damage.

Good Luck.

Find 2 nuts and put them on. The last nut on tighten it against the first nut. Try to loosen the bolt using the first nut on.

I had the no neutral light problem. There is a diode hidden IN the honda wiring. It is buried under the black tape by your left knee. Mine was at the second branch of wires.

You are not the first to put the wheel on and have that big spacer still on the floor.

After you get the leaks stopped, and they still feel spongy. Tie the brake pedal down overnight and bubbles can go to the top.
In a year or so -- you will forget all about this problem.

When you put the false tank back on leave the 2 front bolts off. Mine have been off for 20 years. Same with the 2 back bolts on the seat.
