Re: BAD NEWS

I had a seven vessel bipass in 2001. It took about six months to get my upper body strenght back but other than that I never stopped riding and the doctor never sugggested that I do. Everyone is different but maybe all you need to do is ask another doctor.

Re: Wheel Balancers

I too use dynabeads they work. lead weights work well too. Centramatic work well too. The problem is the same methord of tire balance does not work for everyone. lead weights only keep the tire balanced a short time, then you have to or have some else rebalance the wheel. This does not happen with t...

Re: Reversing Fans (Requesting Info)

If reversing you are pulling hot air from the engine and also losing the self cleaning benefits of changing the airflow. What? I understand what he's saying. My fans seldom run, but when they do, I can see bugs being blown forwards out of the radiators. Normal flow is front to rear (through the rad...

Re: Reversing Fans (Requesting Info)

The GL 1800 is set up so it shuts the fans down at 15 mph regardless of engine temp. When running the fans run against the ram air flow and suck air in the side grills and push it out the front. At various points Honda made improvments in the cooling system so that this works and actually works well...

Re: Stuck Cruise control button

Usually when this happens the grease has dried up or gotten hard. Radio Shack or others sell a control and switch cleaner. You can spray it on till you get some in and this may work or you may have the take the switch off so you can get in in a postion as to let the cleaner soak in for a while. this...

Re: Auto Tire on the Rear, GL1800

Here is what I would call the most non biase study of this question. It does not draw any conclusion just gives you some innformation. I came away from it, with new knowledge. Take a look and note the difference in the mc tire and car tire sidewall and also the shape of the tire bead and shape of th...

Re: Belly pans

Your belly pan is a after market add on. it is attached using the four lower acorn nuts that hold the bottom side panels. Take off the nuts. Pull the side panels off the studs and then the belly pan off the stud. do the same for the other side. Just reverse the proceedure to put it all back together.
