Re: Suspension harshness

Also had my wife on the back and she complained about the ride. She weighs about 150. The rear suspension usually come low on hydraulic fluid from the factory. Here is how to test the rear suspension to see if yours is low on fluid and needing topping off to help the preload work properly. 8M1htsUI...

Re: Suspension harshness

36 front 42 rear. I can change the suspension settings. I currently have it set at 10. I have tried different settings but the only noticeable change is the height. The spring near as I can tell has the color black. The suspension adjustment is only a preload adjuster on the rear shock spring and d...

Re: Suspension harshness

When I get a chance to work on it I probably will start with antidive valve first and the go from there. I have owned several motorcycles over the years and none of them rode as hard as this one From your second topic post of your getting to work on your suspension https://goldwingdocs.com/forum/vi...

Definitely not right the way they are.

Yes they can be taken apart. You'll need a new band to crimp back on along with the glass.

Look up cb750faces.com his is in France and sells the parts to do it.

I haven't done it on a 1200 but did on a 1500. You have to be creative in tools and dexterous in getting in there. Yes a real PIA, neck and back....to say the least.

Re: 1996 gl1500 trike

At the top of the page is the How To Article section. Lots of great articles on servicing a gl1500 there. Change the timing belts(Gates T275) because of age, not how they look, @ $20 each(2). Cheap insurance, unless you like Russian Roulette...... Change ALL THE FLUIDS! Change the air filter if dirt...

Re: Suggestions for intercom/phone/CB headset?

I'm seeing some mixed reviews on the Freewire. I expect to replace the factory radio in the not too distant future, so "staying with stock" isn't a consideration. It is more and more looking like I will just end up with a wire to the helmet. If you replace the stock radio, you will not be using the...
