Re: headset /mic for a GL1800 wing
Personally I went with Cardo, I’ve got one J&M headset, top of the line don’t remember the model number, and a cord. And another older set. Probably never use them again. I wonder what they are worth? I like not having to plug in all the time. And being connected to my phone, via blueing-teeth. ...

Re: What to watch out for?
That looks good,
I also know of TWO 2010 Yellow GL1800's, located in Idaho.
I know one has 18,000 on it and some accessories. The owner hasn't set a price yet.
NAPA says about $10,000 to 12,500 for private sale.
Someone could email me if interested and then I'll get some details.

Re: Need Some Camping Toilet Advice
"Getting caught placing a bag of poop in a dumpster here can get you a ticket, a rather large fine, and a not so pleasant visit to the grey bar hotel." What? Never heard of that before... But then I spose there might be some local-yocal bored to death that might tackle you on the way to t...

Re: What to watch out for?
I would ask how long has the gas been sitting in it, worried that it would be bad and cause problems. Unless they have been riding it fairly often.
I just read this post is two weeks old, did you buy it?

Re: Pulse Generator Error code 19.
Ya FuzzyT, the hardest part was getting the big push pins to let loose of that upper inner cover. Is there somewhere to get some more other than mother Honda? I was surprised to see the connector right in front under that clear cover and like you I slit mine as well, but not too much, to get to the ...

Ok thanks, I think I'm going to dive in and change it myself.
But if that's not my problem, I'm wondering where the crank sensor is, tried to find it on Wingstuff microfish but couldn't...

Re: Pulse Generator Error code 19. Again?
Sooo.... I think that this is my problem. 2014 GL spins over but won't start. A couple of times I thought I counted one long and 9 short on the MIL light. But it only did that a couple of times and now I can't get it to flash again. I did change batteries just to be sure it wasn't that. I'm wonderin...

smelly 2014
This has probably been dealt with before but I'm going to ask about it again,
I've got a 2014 , with 25,000 miles, that has a strong gas smell after a hot ride.
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas...
Couldn't be the charcoal canister could it?

Re: Removal of Front Fairing - Yup, the whole thing
Well me and a friend dived in intending to removed the left side fairing panel, or cowl on my '01. But yes we removed the whole fairing... I'd like to thank Mother Honda for installing Phillips head screws in front where the two halfs come together. If they had been regular headed bolts we could hav...

Re: Dead stereo
Well here's an update, I figured out that when I disconnect the two big multi-plugs for the stereo and replug in the right one, it pops the 20amp fuse for the ACC circuit. As you stand over the bike from the left, the top left pin of the right plug has power with the key off and the second one...

Dead stereo
Hi guys, I've got a new one for you. I went to start my '01 and suddenly the voltage gauge went to 9 volts and it wouldn't turn over. I turned it off and tried again and the gauge wouldn't show anything. Thinking it was the battery I put another one in and suddenly was hunky-dory. But then I checked...
