Hey gang. Looking to replace my headgaskets pn GL1100.

Looks like this should be the right kit for it. Just wanted to make sure and see if anyone had used this before

Re: rebuilt rear master cylinder

only thing i can really think of is maybe you scratched the sides of the cylinder when you were cleaning it out? Id say you need to take it back apart and see whats going on.

Re: rebuilt rear master cylinder

I just rebuilt mine about 2 weeks ago and having no problems but i did have the squish sound previously. Did you buy a new kit? Make sure that the parts all fit exactly. Also where is the leak coming from?

Help identify front forks

Hey Gang. Sorry to post another topic on front forks but I have been trying to do a front fork rebuild and put in some new seals and i am having a problem. I figured out my forks are not stock and there are no identifying marks on them. The forks seals I ordered were for the stock forks and they are...

Re: Tire pressure advice

I would go with the manual on this one. 40 psi seems pretty high to me. It will give you a bumpier ride and less grip on the road.

Re: Fork seal question

hey guys silly question, I am rebuilding my forks and i was wondering where i pour the ATF fluid into the forks... I keep seeing people with syringes that they inject into the fork somewhere, but cant i just unscrew the top off (where the air nozzles are) and pour the correct amount right in there? ...

Re: replaceing fuel tank

Basically i filled it all the way up with vinegar and let it sit for 2 days. then i drained it and rinsed it with water. It got about 90% of the rust out and the rest i kind of scrapped away wi...

1980 rear brake wont build pressure or drain fluid

I bought a vacuum kit and i cant really suck any fluid out of the bleeder port even when pumping the break. I tried disconnecting the b...

Re: replaced solenoid wiring backwards.. fried something

so i just went out and did some more digging. I disconnected the wires to clutch switch and crossed them. immediatly they got hot and I saw some sparking. I tried starting the bike with them like that and nothing happened. Maybe there are some wires grounding out? or woudl the diode being blown caus...

Re: replaced solenoid wiring backwards.. fried something

The same kind that's on the original.Flat blade type. If your going that route, take yours with to match it up. The 3 amp diode is much smaller that the one used on the wing. Its mostly case. Remember, replacing the diode is necessary but may not totally fix your problem. All bets are off if the wiring...
