neautral switch is just an annoyance. the oil leak i would like to take care of.

when I order the valve cover gasket, does that come with the 4 gaskets on the bolts?

and yes, the guy I bought it from had just "replaced" the water pump...

What gave that away?

any ideas?

ok, a couple problems, 1 minor, 1 is troubling... first, my bike only shows neutral light when i am in gear 4, pia, but i can deal with it... second, it seems to be leaking oil from the lt valvle cover gasket, seems to be worse "after" i tightened a bolt, and seems to be really bad when I have it on...

I have seen many avatars of members bikes with some sort of pouch on each side of the trunk for the passenger.

thanks for all the input fellas, i am still undecided, or actually trying to figure out how to convince the old lady to let me tear into the bike... :D i think i would make the 4 machanical gauge route from harbor frieght. i am a little worried about the possibly issues this can cause, as it is, she...

I picked up an 83 1100i a couple weeks ago, and i cannot tell you how many hours I have already spent lurking aorund on this site.
