Re: 2nd Amendment

The thing to remember "IT IS NOT ABOUT GUN CONTROL, IT IS ABOUT CONTROL". I feel sad for the citizens of Canada and Australia now that they have an ANTI GUN GOVERNMENT. I have avoided Canada on three trips so far because I exercise my rights to LAWFULLY CARY A FIREARM and would not take the chance ...

Re: 2nd Amendment

Aussiegold, Just for your information, there were no" automatic''" assault weapons" carried to any protests in any state in the US. They are pretty much unlawful for a common person to own one without special permitting, that the common person seldom could afford. The media and the gun grabbers (Le...

Re: 2nd Amendment

this subject ( gun laws/ ownership )raises the blood pressure of a lot of americans, usually because they seem to see any question about it as being an attack on their rights. i could not care less about that, my interest is in the actual mindset and social acceptance of an armed society. here in Au...

yeah im going to get a mechanic friend of mine to have a good look when he can, this guy does a 5 part video series about putting back a gl, 9DGNEngFPks he makes it look very easy. the honda manual makes it look very hard-and the pictures are terrible. g'day. i made those videos and while an engine...

Re: Front fork damper oil capacity.

Virgil you are correct. I had gotten millimeters mixed with milliliters. Sorry.
200 cc is in fact 200 ml.
The method of measuring free space is a little harder than pouring in a measured amount, so in my opinion , it is better to add what the manual says.

Re: Front fork damper oil capacity.

from a full rebuild , that is drained completely, the honda manual says 200 mm . per fork.
whatever you do, DO NOT take Randakks advice to fill ,leaving 160 mm free space.that is WAY too much.
repeated emails asking him to change this ( one more bit of bad advice ) seems to fall on deaf ears.

Re: Charging

these type of charging problems seem to be popping up a lot, i reckon, just because of the age of the bikes. but there is a simple and easy fix. first, what is usually the problem, is the black " sense " wire that tells the regulator the state of charge in the battery. so, from the battery to the ig...

Quality parts in both Honda/Randakk but Randakk's is about $70 cheaper here in the US of A. +1 for Randakks. Top quality, everything you need and nothing you don't AND all the rubber parts are Viton, so not affected by Ethanol. Maz Do you have widespread Ethanol down under ? yes, we have ethanol. b...

The times that we live in at best demand having better choices in terms of living in a state that is pro-gun. I presently live in NY, and the time for a choice to live in another state, such as Pennsylvania, is coming quickly. When I read an article like this, I thank god that I don't live in Calif...
