Re: Charging

these type of charging problems seem to be popping up a lot, i reckon, just because of the age of the bikes. but there is a simple and easy fix. first, what is usually the problem, is the black " sense " wire that tells the regulator the state of charge in the battery. so, from the battery to the ig...

Re: carb rebuild kits

Quality parts in both Honda/Randakk but Randakk's is about $70 cheaper here in the US of A. +1 for Randakks. Top quality, everything you need and nothing you don't AND all the rubber parts are Viton, so not affected by Ethanol. Maz Do you have widespread Ethanol down under ? yes, we have ethanol. b...

read this Honda Service bulletin.
ride it. park it on the centre stand whenever possible. i doubt it will smoke if parked on the centre stand.

Re: 9th Circuit Court of Appeals

The times that we live in at best demand having better choices in terms of living in a state that is pro-gun. I presently live in NY, and the time for a choice to live in another state, such as Pennsylvania, is coming quickly. When I read an article like this, I thank god that I don't live in Calif...

Re: Ferry Crossing

. . . eh, i was going to comment on the side stand vs center stand strengths... basically, given "X" situation[s], NEITHER are really strong enough. essentially correct, but....... on the centre stand and bike tied down at the front, all the bikes weight is on the stand and front tyre. on the sides...

You guys must understand that your country's population is less then that of Chicago which has the most killings by gangs in the US. We also have about 20 million illegals and they are mostly the ones killing each other in gangs, and we have a President that thinks that is OK, he only goes after co...

Re: complete engine gasket set GL1000

i have had no problems with the Vesrah sets. some think it is best to use Honda head gaskets and i cannot figure why. Vesrah is an excellent aftermarket manufacturer. ps the Honda manual says to use a sealer on the head gasket. i use copper spray. although ,as an experiment i did fit some dry once. ...
