Re: Trike conversion rear tire

I have an 84 Aspencade with a trike conversion, yes training wheels. Had it about three months. I am in need on a new rear drive tire. Does it have to be a motorcycle tire? As it is not leaning anymore would a car tire work? Doesn't have to be a trike to utilize a car tire... "Darkside" usage (runn...

Re: Linearity Question For Auto Nerds - This is gonna get technical

Going on the assumption that it could be fuel mapping, you could always send your ECM to Guhl Motors and have it re-flashed... Suppose to do wonders for the GL1800 performance...

Re: Linearity Question For Auto Nerds - This is gonna get technical

Well, I'm not an auto mechanic but I do have over 50 years of electronic experience... In the world of electronics, potentiometers (TPS') have 3 basic tapers... Linear, Log, (logarithmic) and reverse log... I would expect the TPS on most machines to be linear, but this would depend on how the softwa...

Re: Probably dumbest question ever

First of all, there are no dumb questions!!! The only "dumb question" is the one not asked... If you don't know, ask, that's how we all learn...

Now that said, I don't know the answer to your question but I too have seemingly learned a new fact today so thank you for that...

I have been using headlight modulators for about the last 26 years (since 1993) and wouldn't be without one... While they may irritate some cagers, I cannot tell you how many people I have seen getting ready to pull out in front of me, and then jam on the brakes when they see the modulator... Say wh...

you may be experiencing "brake shudder"... This was supposed to be fixed with the brake recall but some riders still report the condition after the recall has been done... I have an 09 and just checked mine with 43K miles on the clock... I have a few intake valves that are beginning to tighten up so doing a check is worth while... I will check them again in another 10-20K miles or so and see how they look and then make a decision as to whether I'll do the adjustment o...
