Excellent review and video, they look like good lights. Now all I have to do is find a Canadian supplier.

Re: Question about changing timing belts on CL 1500

. Finished changing the belts this morning. I also replaced the adjusting tensioners at $118 CAD each. The old ones appeared solid but when spun I could hear/feel a bit of a rattle. At 21 years old with 128,000 km on them they did not owe me anything. Lining up and checking the alignment of timing m...

So, when you are facing the engine. If the engine was running. Which way would the crankshaft be turning,

Question about changing timing belts on CL 1500

. I am in the middle of changing the timing belts on my 97' CL 1500 using this tutorial. https://goldwingdocs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=9774 The belts are a bit loose so it is good I am doing it. The timing marks appear close the where they should be. I have the covers off and now just lining u...

Re: My first bike

.

First bike was a 67' Honda CL77 305cc street scrambler that I bought in 68'. Standard red frame and grey body parts.

It only had a few miles on it which I soon remedied. Used to love cracking the throttle with the "snuffs" open. Can't beat that sound.

Wish I still had it.

Re: starter turns over but no fire until I let off the button

12.24 to the coils with out the bike running. 6.82 while the starter is in gaged and 11.91 while the bike is running. The 11.91 was while battery is now reading 13.4 engine running. The fool proof fix. I put a relay on mine today I connected the hot wire (witch is direct from my battery) on my ciga...

Re: starter turns over but no fire until I let off the button

. I have a 97' SE and I sometimes have the start on release situation, but not often. Couple of questions for the contributors. 1 -- where did you locate the fuse and relay ? 2 -- do any of you have photos of this fix ? 3 -- is there another way to increase the wire gauge without using a relay ? The...

Nice videos. I really liked your use of Stan Rogers on the Alberta / Saskatchewan one.

Re: 1990 GL 1500 PARTING OUT, WHAT I HAVE LEFT

Do you still have the exhaust collector with the dump valve? Is it in working condition with no holes?

How much do you want for it ?
