yes you are right, the 83 lists the #57 in the owners manual I have plenty since the 194s seem to fit better in the wedge socket. Who ever needs the 57s let me know, ship free and the bulbs also.

OK got it. Page 7-14 in the 1100 service manual should help you get on track. Be sure to back off valve adjustments to prevent bending of the valves on rotation.``````````````

It is a 194 bulb available at your local parts store. Silvana has one at 1.5 ,but they do come in different wattage's. By the way did you check your fuse?

Harrison won the Senior. Poor old Hickman had a 17 second lead but the bike lost performance and by the last lap he'd lost the lead. Had to make do with second. Connor Cummins was third, Michael Dunlop Fourth. Roll on next year. Sid Thank you for the update Sid. gee whiz just wasn't his day.yep nex...

Glad to see you buy OEM especially on the thermostat. Warm up times are quicker and it is the right size. Be sure the little hole is at the top. If they fit other hondas good at least they will be available.

Re: Won't start

Raise up on the brake pedal and see if the brake light goes off. Above the brake pedal is the rear brake light switch. Might have to adjust the switch. also check the front brake lever switch. Did you test the headlight from another power source or was it operating at one time?

Nice. So you think the leak could be a clog? Well that sounds a lot more fixable than finding the unicorn master cylinder without having to buy a parts bike, which is not completely off the table just yet. Thanks. That will give me something to tear apart this weekend. I used a rebuild kit for the ...

Re: Just acquired a 1983 GL1100 Interstate

Did you know or did I miss the part about you also knew the rear master cylinder is one of a kind on the 83 because of the linked brake system? When you press on the rear brake pedal a front rotor also applies braking. The front brake lever applies pressure to the left front only. Did you know about ...

Re: 1983 Brake Rotors Interchangeable?

The spoke wheels on the 1983 changed it up a little and it might have something to do with the link braking system. 43120-MB9-000 is the rotor you need for the rear vs. the 43120-MB9-870 which is 82 and back. The rotors are out there. When you decide what you are going to do now let us know. Some ma...
