Anyone have 2018 tour windscreen for sale?

I'm looking for a little taller windscreen for my 2018 goldwing bagger- I think the standard tour height will be adequate. Anyone close by that want to sell one they've taken off before I go to aftrmarket? Didn't see anything in classified

Re: The onboard GPS

Can anyone answer, will the GPS, after 2nd update, allow numbers and spaces in the name of the route? Originally, it wouldn't recognize a route if it contained #'s, or spaces or characters

Re: How to Check your oil: You're doing it WRONG!

One important thing not mentioned-Goldwing needs to be on a centerstand or held level when checking the level. FWIW, Harleys are checked on the Jiffy stand. Jiffy stand huh? I always heard it called a side stand or kick stand, but jiffy works. 8-) https://www.revzilla.com/common-tread/its-called-a-...

importing phone book

OK, finally figured out how to pair my new iPhone to bike and Sena to bike (not as intuitive as the Android), but can't seem to get the iPhone phone book to load- It's paired with Bluetooth and I've tried it connected to CarPlay via USB. I have 1 # in speed dial, can't load anymore, when I click add...

Re: 2018 GL1800 Center stand

Unless you are riding 2 up all the time and need the extra storage, you'll find that the base GW will give you everything you need. I've never adjusted the rear shock setting since it's just me and my duffle bag if necessary. It's not a stripper-but a bagger!. enjoy

Don't know what's different for you? Several others have done it from the right side with no issue. Is yours a 2019 or 2018? Maybe they changed something?

Re: A couple of questions

It does not come with sxm antenna, but it is plug and play under the seat. You don't need their $100 one, I used one from an old xm radio-you can buy on amazon for <$15. I mounted my antenna behind the pillion, and it works fine there. On a tour model, you could mount it on the top box. The factory ...

Re: Dunlop Tires???

we do ride pretty aggressively, but still should get more mileage, I'd think. Think I'll try the exedra g852/g853 combo this time Put the G52/G53 Exedra's on- major improvement over the 243's even when still slick. More rounded profile-fits the handling characteristics of this bike better, IMHO. FW...

Re: Dunlop Tires???

8800 and the left side of the front is a slick, rear not far behind. Thinking about Roadsmart III's or Bridgestone Excedra's if I can find correct sizes. Just as soon not go back to Dunlop 243's with this lousy mileage

Re: TPMS- again

mine was on when I picked it up, found out you need to air the tires down to a quite low pressure then to bring them back to normal operating pressure. It corrected my issue and the only time they came back on was when the tires were low. Dealer said it was written up in service manual.

Re: LIGHTS GOING CRAZY ON MY LEMON DCT! Help?

Ohio has a lemon law that covers motorcycle as well. If there is a major defect that can't be repaired within a "reasonable" number of attempts, the dealership must either replace the motorcycle or give you your money back. There is a time and mileage limit, so get on it! Don't give up on the bike i...
